"Dennis was great to work with right from the first phone call. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to reasonably plan out and install a new TV and system that made sense for our family needs. He is very patient and detail oriented, and explained everything along the way. He was happy to help with any follow up questions we had after installation. He and his staff were very professional throughout the entire process. We highly recommend!"

"I couldn t be happier with the quick response and job done by Jeff Franklin of Home Theater Associates! He responded online the evening I submitted my request to Home Advisor and called me the next morning. He was able to get the job done that afternoon! He connected my old Bose turntable and Go Video VCR/DVD player to my Bose surround sound system (which was not working properly) and Sony HDTV. He was able to get rid of extra wiring, which I appreciated. Most importantly, he had me write down his clear and simple instructions for using the remotes. He watched and advised me as I practiced using the remotes to watch the TV, a VCR tape, a DVD, and listen to CDs AND my vinyl records, through the working surround sound system! I m thrilled to have this all working and to have the confidence I know how to use it. Thank you Home Advisor for connecting me to Home Theater Associates. Jeff Franklin was the right person for the job!"

"I am a new homeowner and I hired Bill and his team to install two televisions and advise me on sound, security and WiFi. Bill began the engagement by doing a walk-thru of our house and spending time educating us on various options, without pressuring us to purchase any services or products. During the walk-thru, Bill provided me with talking points to go through with the technician, who was coming to install wireless internet the following day. A few days later, Bill returned to install two televisions. His staff approached the project as problem solvers, as they carefully hung both televisions (ensuring they were both secure) and thoughtfully and creatively hid all wires behind walls. Further, while making necessary holes in the walls, one technician held a vacuum to ensure that they did not leave a mess. Just a small demonstration of how thoughtfully they treat houses that they work in. Additionally, Bill provided an accurate and fair estimate and was very conscious of costs throughout the project. Bill and his team work very hard, are efficient, and spend the needed time to develop the best plan to wire the space. While we haven't yet addressed the music / stereo in the house, I will certainly call Bill when I'm ready to do so. Bill and his team were professional, patient, reliable, and extraordinarily good at what they do. I highly recommend Bill and his team for any electronics related projects in your home or office."

"James and Zach were fantastic. They installed a sound system for me with a lot of complications inherent to the project. They problem-solved their way through the 2-day effort with great attitudes and helpful explanations. As the project scaled up, they were sure to warn me about extra costs and get my approval. James reminded e to call if I had any questions or problems going forward. The system sounds great and I highly recommend Black Barrel. (Bowers and Wilkins and Sonos speakers, Marantz receiver, Audio Technica turntable, Panasonic BluRay and a 65? Sony Bravia TV)"

"This provider, Melvin from All City was one of the nicest and most accommodating vendors I have ever worked with. The offer was for a tilting tv mount. I wrote All City and asked if it was possible to get a full motion tv mount. They immediately wrote back and said absolutely but it would be a little extra which I expected as the bracket costs more. Scheduling was very easy and immediate, only like 3 days after I bought the service.

Most importantly, apparently my old New York City address was in the Angies list system and Melvin texted me on the day of the appointment, near the time of the appointment that he was close to my building. Well I knew this didn't sound right as I don't live in a building anymore but rather in a house 40 minutes away from NyC without traffic in Westchester. When I contacted Melvin he couldn't have been nicer or more understanding of the mistake (not sure if it was mine or Angies List but certainly wasn't his) and said no problem he would get in his car and head up to the house now. Anyone who knows NY City and traffic, let alone the extra gas and tolls and time, would understand if Melvin said sorry I can't do today or have to reschedule or have to charge extra now or have to refund altogether but he answered with the easiest going "no problem mistakes happen" and headed right up to Westchester to my house.

Once at my house he found that the install may require an extension cord to run through the wall. I wasn't home but he called me and asked if I had one. I wasn't sure and directed him to where one might be, but in the interim he offered that "not to worry," if I didn't have an extension cord he would run out to a local store and get it for me to complete the install (ends up I had one that he found). People in general don't go out of there way like this, and I greatly appreciated it.

After the install he texted me a picture of the completed job and stated that if I wasn't completely satisfied he would be happy to come back and fix or reposition anything. None of which is needed as the installation was perfectly positioned and professionally installed. If you have the need, I highly recommend Melvin from All City!
