Buddy listened to me main request - a system that would provide more comfortable heat and offer more summer comfort. Buddy quoted me 14-Seer Carrier AC combined with a two-stage, variable speed Carrier Infinity furnace that together produce 15-seer of efficiency. Having a more efficient air handler can increase the efficiency of the condenser. Buddy's price was over thousand dollars less than similar quotes I received. His quote included a good quality Honeywell air cleaner that would later prove to help my wife's allergies. After a few days if deciding, and after texting and e-mailing Buddy many questions, we hired Weatherman. One of those questions was how to control humidity, for that Buddy recommended the Honeywell Vision Pro 8000 thermostat which has a simple touchscreen plus Wifi. His crew came out on time three days later as scheduled and installed the new system in about 5 hours. The left the area nice and clean and the system was neatly installed. I found a slight problem with the humidity control not communicating between the furnace/thermostat. This was caused by my house's thermostat cable not having enough connectors. Buddy worked with me to find a solution and came out to install a Honeywell Wiresaver for me a few days later when he was in my area. Speaking of location, Buddy is based out in the Hill Country and provides good, honest small town friendliness, manners and service. Don't let his distance away from Austin worry you. He is always in town to pick up equipment for the installs here and in the Hill Country. Besides, the big companies in Austin service the same large area - as i told one of the big guys who I declined to hire - the roads go both ways, when he scoffed at me hiring Weatherman. Did i say that Buddy included a much longer labor warranty too? I highly encourage anyone needing a quote to give Buddy a chance."

He did a review of my Electrical panel . He then went over suggestions for things I might consider adding to the repair I needed . I appreciated the feedback I was given but quickly realized that the pricing was extremely excessive for the services offered . After going over the pricing for the two services I was requesting I choose just to replace the plug . So the plug was replaced taking about 5 minutes at a charge of $418.00 . The other service that I chose to decline was adding a switch controlling a plug that would have been about 5 feet away . That declined charge would have been $688. My best estimate is that service would have taken about 30 minutes . I do appreciate when called asking if I would refer them and I answered no because of overpricing they reduced the price .
