The heater's Pressure Reducing/Pressure Regulating Valve (PRV) valve was bad and caused my whole house water pressure to be very low. Also, I had excessive water trickling on the garage floor from the overflow pipe (due to a defective expansion tank. It’s the expansion tank’s job to take on this “extra” water caused by thermal expansion). Jeremiah, who did most of the talking explained what was going wrong with my heater, explained my options, provided an estimate, and explained that my specific water heater was about at the age that it will likely need replacing. It was good to know as I can now get my finances in order to eventually get a new one. He even explained financing options to me should I want a new heater and need financing. The two were friendly (did I mention Jeremiah is a Veteran), knowledgeable, worked quickly in the heat (they had to go under my house), and cleaned up and were finished in no time. The price charged was very reasonable, especially considering that I couldn't water the lawn properly, showers in house with low pressure was awful, water flow on garage floor would ultimately cause floor damage, and I didn't have to purchase a new water heater, yet. I really have had such good experiences with Alexander for several repairs they have made for me in the past, too My water pressure in the house is back to normal!
