"All went well. Some issues with the foundation were worse than thought so the work took a little longer but it was definitely needed. Part of an addition had been built without proper foundation as in none. It was hanging in air. They made an extra trip to replace and fix drains that had to be removed. Took extra care to make sure as little damage to carpet as possible. Terrance Blackwell and crew came for the outside work. They were great. I really appreciated Terrance's extra trip to make sure the drains were fixed. Austin Wells and Peter Dang came for basement floor lift and level and I greatly appreciated their extra effort to take care of the carpets even though they had to drill through the floor. The little extras made a big difference. Good people, good work."

"From my initial meeting with Justin Slocum to discuss the work I needed through the final wrap up, this project went very well. The crew painting the interior of my house was professional and did wonderful work. They were very easy to work with and the paint job looks great! Each night, the work areas were left clean and tidy. About our leak... the crew manager found the leak causing the mold and was able to fix that problem, which was on the exterior of the house. It was nice being able to use Slocum contracting for the paint and then, when I needed exterior work, they were skilled in that area too. Of course, they remediated the mold too! I guess you can see, I am happy with the work that Slocum Contracting did and it was very good experience working with them."

Marcus came out to give us an estimate and spent alot of time showing us what needed to be done and options, Brian and Noah, who did the actual repairs worked super hard all day, repairing everything in our large driveway, 2 sidewalks and large patio, and Danielle helped with all questions on scheduling and financing. "The initial meeting went fine, the man who came out seemed very knowledgeable.  Once they began the work, they finished in a timely manner, although I did notice they hit concrete in one of the locations they were trying to dig.  When I came home after they were done (I had left the final check with my daughter to take care of - mistake), I noticed the 'repairs' to the bricks were extremely sloppy:  completely different color mortar, etc.  There was a lot going on at the moment so I did not contact them right away, and then I procrastinated further since some time had already gone by and this was cosmetic, but when I finally did contact them, I was told their brick person had been fired and they would fix the problem, and he would call back the next day.  He did not call, so I sent pictures a few days later and my husband called a month or two later, but they never contacted us.  Later I found out that they had not submitted the final inspection report to the county by the deadline so things could be properly closed out, but since I did have a copy, I was able to send that in.  By the way, the 'inspection' was based on a review of the 'drive logs.'  Now I have had additional cracks/sticking doors inside and I think there may be a new crack outside (I have not compared yet with my pictures taken earlier to verify it is new.)  I have not yet contacted them about this problem to see if they will respond. <br />"
