While they worked hard each day, they were still most accommodating of our needs as homeowners. They moved their equipment several times so that we could be on time for personal commitments, they worked quietly and efficiently (except for the sounds of their equipment, we would hardly have known they were here), and when they were finished, they carefully cleaned our basement before their departure. We enjoyed our experience with Tim, Dan, and Ty, and we’re well pleased with the work they did. "

"As a realtor, I found Rich from Expedient Environmental Solutions while searching for a client who needed mold remediation. He and his crew did an excellent job at a fair price. They finished on time and left the home clean. So, when I was looking personally to have basement waterproofing (interior french drains and sump pump) along with radon mitigation, I received 3 quotes, of which theirs was the most comprehensive plan, and again not the highest quote overall. They finished the work ahead of schedule by bringing four workers the second day, were respectful throughout and left the area reasonably clean. I'm confident that my days (and nights!) with the shopvac and flooded basement are finally over, and grateful they stand behind their work for a full year. Good contractors are hard to find. "Joe Vitale, owner of Excellent Exterior & Deck Co. and his crew did an amazing job, on what I thought was to be a very difficult project, but what turned out to be 'just another day at the rodeo' for them. Upon his first visit to our home, he was able to immediately evaluate the situation and recommend to us the type of deck, 18'x30' Trex, and the drainage system beneath it, that we would need to alleviate a major water problem throughout the backyard, which would also assure that the house foundation would be secure forever. When I explained to Joe that the Town had denied a previous contractor the type of detached floating deck that he recommended, he assured us that he would get approval . His professional engineer drew the plans, and when Joe presented them to the Town, the plan was accepted on the spot, and a building permit was granted. Before starting the work, Joe was able to provide more than the proper insurance required by our homeowners association, including certificates of Liabilty, Workers' Compensation, and Disability Insurance coverage. It was comforting that Joe was involved from beginning to end, to answer questions, to provide a Trex brochure and to guide us in choosing the type and color of Trex that we wanted. Joe managed the project himself, and even ran his own machinery, including dozers and a variety of trucks. which he operated with extreme expertise. Except for materials delivery, there was no 'contracting out' of any work., so Joe Vitale, the owner, took full responsibility for the entire job. As part of this project, Joe built a 20" deep foundation using gravel and stone upon which the deck sits. Drainage pipes were strategically placed to move rainwater away from the deck and house. The Trex deck is built on a floating bed design with 12" OC floor joists. It is installed with the Trex Hidden fastener system and there is a division board and picture frame. All fasteners are Hot Dipped Galvanized or better. All materials and labor were included in the contract and Joe lived up to that agreement 100%. The deck is solid as a rock and amazingly level in all directions. After the deck was completed, Joe regraded our entire backyard, which it needed. The whole project took less than a week. The Trex company has designated Excellent Exterior and Deck Company, Inc. as one of their distinguished experts, and I agree with that. So, if you happen to see a truck or sign with the slogan "You need a big deck" that is Joe Vitale's Excellent Exterior and Deck Company (518) 466-4011. I give this company an A+ rating."

"I had called Kinetic Basement Solutions because one of my two sump pump pits began filling with water. The pits had no pumps and very little water in them for years but that all changed recently. The team assessed the situation and installed two pumps, one in each pit, along with exterior drainage basins and I no longer worry about the water. They performed the installation about a week after I told them I wanted to move forward and they were nothing but professional. The installation inside was done well and there was no cleanup I had to do when they left! Outside, I had one minor aesthetic concern that was addressed immediately the following day. More companies should be as responsive as Kinetic. Nicole and the office staff are a pleasure to deal with."

"Our sump pump died and our basement flooded. Matt, owner, of Cleanbright and his crew were fantastic. He and the whole crew were polite, professional and great to work with. He communicates very well and handled things with my insurance company. They had all the equipment to dry out the basement after removing sheetrock. They replaced and replaced it and repainted and moved stuff back into place. Thanks to his quick response we avoided any mold or mildew issues. On top of everything else they were very neat and clean. You would never know there had been an issue."

"I built the room myself but needed a professional to do all the taping and painting. Bill did a fabulous job, he was extremely attentive to all our wants and needs. At the last minute we added on the floor for painting and Bill was very happy to help us out. He cleaned everything up every day he was here and was very punctual everyday. "This provider was recommended to me by Angie's List customer service.  I need masonry work done and Angie's List had a 'deal' at the time. Unfortunately the provider of the 'deal' did not do (or want to do) that type of repair.  Angie's List was very helpful in putting me in contact with Bill Miles.   I met with the technician and got an  estimate and arranged  for the repair.  Bottom line is the repairs were made in a timely fashion . In addition he painted the rails to make both sides match (nice touch).  I gave a "B" on the price as this was my first masonry repair of this nature. I did not get estimates from others to compare. The price could have been more or less than others. In hindsight I feel confident that I got good value. I have discovered (from the past) that the cheapest price is not always the best price.  <br />"
