"I was disappointed that the service tech did not have the replacement faucet or garbage disposer with him when he came out. I made it clear in my request for an estimate that at a minimum, these two items need to be repaired/replaced so he should have brought them when he came. Instead, I had to wait for an hour for him to drive to the "warehouse" to pick up the items and come back. I did not see or sign the written estimate before I agreed to the quote, and I do believe I was gouged on the price, but the work needed to be done so I did not press the issue with John. Other than that, John was friendly, professional, and did a great job cleaning up after himself when we completed the work. The employee that contacted me to set up the appointment was also very friendly, prompt, courteous and professional. The lady that called the other day to see how things went was friendly and professional. For these reasons, I am willing to hire Hope Plumbing again for future plumbing need; however, I will scrutinize the invoice and demand to see the written estimate before hand."

"I initially called R & S Sewer cleaning as I thought my drain blockage was in my main drain. After a couple of minutes it was determined that I was wrong and that it was only the kitchen drain. As a footnote, when I greeted the plumber he asked me if I remembered him from when he was in my sixth grade class many years prior. I am proud to say that I did!"

"I woke up to find my basement flooded with at least two inches of water. The plumber I use for smaller jobs does not do main drains but he referred me to CSC (Commercial Sewer Cleaning). I called then just after 8 a.m. They sent someone to my house the same morning. He used a huge heavy snake to clean the drain. It went perfectly. Eventually all the water drained into the drain in my basement floor. The plumber was efficient, friendly, and very professional."

"Jeff and Russ were punctual and very polite. Russ even apologized for being early. I was surprised to notice that one had removed his shoes and the other was wearing shoe covers before entering my house. I showed them the water spot on my ceiling which was my main source of concern and then explained to them some of my girlfriend's complaints of noisy water drains and periodic musky smells in the guest bathroom. I escorted them to the master bathroom where I assumed the leak was coming from. They were quickly able to find the source of the leak which was from a missing gasket on the bottom of the shower door. They then did some diagnosis on the various noises that seem to happen in the guest bathroom as water drains from the master shower. After discussing a number of different scenarios they explained that the most likely reason for the noises and possibly the smell is the lack of use of the guest shower and master bathtub. After running some water through those respective pipes the noises appear to have stopped. I was more than pleasantly surprised when they told me that they were not going to charge me anything for the service calll!!! I certainly hope that I do not run into any additional plumbing issues but if I do I will call Russ and Jeff and Pipe Dreams first. <br />"

"We had LD Smith (no relation) come out to handle drain-stoppage issue that had been recurring, ever more frequently. They quickly determined what was causing the problem and why it was becoming more/too frequent. We have an old house with very old and deteriorating outdoor connections to what was once a weird system of cisterns and septic tanks but are now connected to sewers. They worked out the best way to take care of things long-term and did it very efficiently. The work ended up being substantial, as we knew it would be. The price, timing, and personnel were all excellent. Of course, with any large (for us) project, there was a hiccup. They handled that with honesty, understanding, and aplomb. We will definitely be calling them first for future plumbing work."

"Called for a quote to hook up to the city sewer system. They came out within a couple of days. He checked with his office to see what type of sewer hook up we had. He explained he had a clay tile sewer line and advised where the hook ups were for us to connect. He provided the name of an excavating company that would be able to help us. <br />"

"I got them from Angie's List. I got 3 bids and theirs was the mid bid. It was a bid of $1,200 just to fix the break. When they started to dig the yard, they found out that there was a break all the way to the sewer. So I had to have the whole sewer line from the house to the sewer dugout and replaced. They seemed honest. Even though the bid was for $1,200 and there was a break, I couldn't get another estimate on the whole job. They told me it was going to be $6,000 to $6,500 depending on how far to the sewer it was."

"We were having drain issues on a Friday night. We finally called Mr. Plumber after checking reviews on Angie's list. Once we called, they responded quickly. They were up front on the estimated cost per hour. They came out late Friday evening and tried to clear the drain, going almost 100 feet in without any luck. They said they would need to come back the next day and do a camera inspection. They did their camera inspection and still could not get a good view after some distance in the pipe due to the blockage, but had an idea on where the blockage was. They said at that point they would have to dig in the yard to get the pipe. They took care of getting the permits from the city and worked with them on the inspections to complete the work. Despite the high cost, we were able to get most the work covered by making a claim to our homeowners insurance because of how long it took. I would recommend them."
