"Fleet Concrete did an excellent job on an oversized driveway. Employees were professional, courteous, knowledgeable. They performed like it was a piece of art, meticulously. Bonus, they cleaned everything up! You don’t find that often. Very pleased."

"My experience with Perkins Concrete, from the initial estimate to the final inspection, was very positive. I received 4 estimates to replace the cracked, pitted, sunken concrete floor in my 97-year-old detached garage. Warren Perkins was the only contractor who addressed protecting the building's foundation. Both Warren and his crew were very professional. They arrived on time, and everything went as scheduled. My garage was not a big job, only 400 square feet, yet Warren communicated throughout the process. There were no surprises. As I hoped, the floor sloped very slightly downward to the outside. Also, as requested, the final floor was very smooth and ready for polishing/sealing. See before and after pics for comparison. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. Their workmanship and attention to detail are very impressive. I highly recommend Perkins Concrete and would hire them again."

"Team Farrel, Please take this as constructive criticism ; So the first time I contacted this company they did a good job, it was a relatively small job but they did good, So I thought id use them again or at least offer then the work but every other experience over the last 4 years that I have had with them has not been great to put it lightly, which has been more than 4 times. I really hope I can change this review someday, I really want too, as I hate to leave negative feedback and I am a small business owner myself. I love a great comeback story so I hope these guys can change but this company needs to learn a thing or two on at least the customer service side of things and right now they dont seem to want to learn. I REALLY hope Team Farrel takes this as constructive criticism as I have no beef with them. My advice to Team Farrel is, answer your customers questions, stop treating them like you hate them don't lie to and change your website to better reflect what you actually do"

"Jim came to the house to look at the job, offered good suggestions and gave us an estimate. Several months passed before we were ready for the Thin Brick but Jim remembered the whole project. First he applied a water barrier to the wall and let it dry. Then Jim and Steve marked the wall for the running bond pattern. Steve applied the brick and mortar. The whole job was completed in one day and it looks great. Good workmanship and a big improvement to the office."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in New Port Richey, FL

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
