A detailed list of findings and recommendations was documented, and an estimate presented. "I am getting my basement finished and I had a leak that I could not figure out. I had multiple other companies come out with no success. I called Chimney Sweeps of America based on the Angie's List reviews and within days, Mike was able to come out and give me a free estimate. Initially he was convinced it was an issue with my grading around the foundation and I agreed. He proposed putting an adhesive on the brick to stop the seeping. His price was reasonable so we moved forward. He changes his schedule and came out the next day. The following weekend we had a huge storm and the leak was still there. I called Mike frantically and he agreed to come back out. We worked through some options and did some testing and Mike came to the conclusion that there was an issue with a leak from the top of the chimney. We discussed some options and the quote was very reasonable for the scope of work that he proposed. I needed the work done asap so Mike worked extra hard to get his week done early so he could come out by the end of the week leading into Labor Day. When most people are taking off for the Holiday, Chimney Sweeps of America was at my house going above and beyond to help solve my problem. They worked diligently but didn't cut corners. Mike discussed the work he and his team performed and made sure I understood why the problem was occurring. They took off the chase cover, replaced and painted the trim boards, replaced the piping to my chimney cap, installed a storm collar and made sure everything was sealed up with a special caulking material. I lost a lot of sleep over this leak but I feel very relieved to have found such an honest and hard working team to work with. Trust this company, they will go the extra mile to make sure they help. "Everything went great. He called because he was available early and wanted to know if it would be ok to come earlier then planned. When he arrived, he introduced himself and verified the scope of work requested. He went straight to work. When complete he explained everything he did, showed pictures of things that would need work, and answered all of my questions. It was only $150 for the inspection and cleaning and I received my receipt with the pictures he had taken within minutes. He was quick, clean and very professional. "Mr. Robert Helm was out last August (2014) for an estimate and to meet with my insurance adjuster, but we had a baby in September and the repair job fell off our radar until this Spring (after I noticed a few more shingles blown off in our yard). The repair costs were less than our deductible, so it would be out of pocket. After reconnecting in Spring, he returned my call promptly and was able to schedule the work to within a couple days of my requested window. Robert is a super nice guy and easy to work with. Very accommodating and extremely honest. After the job, he calculated actual material costs and time spent and it came out to be less than the original estimate! He took great care in matching the shingle and the work looks great. No damage to anything and NO MESS. Also, I was appreciative that he didn't call CPS on us after seeing the "cage" with a kid's chair in it that my daughter uses as her pretend jail on her playground. LOL. "Duramax got back to me the same day I called and was out the next day to look at the guttering. I got an estimate for the work that day which was reasonable for the work that needed to be done and told them to go ahead with the repair. The crew was out on Monday, less than a week after I had contacted Duramax, and got the majority of the work done that day. There turned out to be some additional damage that needed to be repaired that took a little longer than expected so they finished up this morning (Wednesday - it rained all day Tuesday; gutter was in place they just needed to close up the underside and clean-up). As with the work that they did on the shingled part of the roof I am delighted with the work Duramax has done."

"This is the 3rd property we've used Masoner and Sons for.  Our 1st one, he came out, inspected our chimney and diagnosed our problem.  He was able to get it fixed for 1/3 the cost of another competitor and didn't charge me extra for coming out, like his competitor did.  He fixed the leak and we haven't had an issue again.  We then had him do a recommended chimney inspection (not a hugely involved one - more of a sight inspection), and he didn't charge us for it since he was able to help us in a few minutes.  He's been a great addition to our go to rental call list for repairs/inspections.  On our most recent one he inspected our home chimney for using it for fires on cold nights.  It had never been used by us.  He gave us the green light and also some helpful pointers that we will be using in the future. <br />"
