They also poured a large concrete slab for RV parking and walk way that wraps around the house. Their work is high quality, everything is sloped well and leveled to match the existing structures like AC unit and crawlspace entrance. After a week there was a small area that had issues and Patrick agreed to repair it. I will use them for future projects."

"Todd came out and looked over the hot tub level situation and checked the level.  He explained how the concrete leveling process worked.  On the day to level, the hot tub had been removed and the new one was waiting.  Todd and his assistant, Stan, drilled a few holes in the slab and pumped in grout, re-leveling the slab.  The hot tub is in our backyard and down a hill and required about 80 feet of hose to pump the grout, so not an easy job.  Overall the new tub is much more level than the old tub previously was.  One corner that was most out of level actually had a void underneath that Todd could detect while he was drilling.  They patched the holes in the slab and they blend in well. <br />"

I then went to Angie's List and read all the reviews. Seismic Technologies stood out with the most and the best reviews.  I called and   made an appointment in less than a week .  The engineer's name was Jay Kushner.  Jay  was wonderful!  He took his fancy tools and his many years of experience and did a thorough inspection.  He listened patiently about our concerns of possible compromise of our garage floor. He  examined a crack in the floor and  explained that it  was due to a tree outside. He used a laser and measured the floor and said it was rising rather than falling.  He checked the foundation surrounding the garage and found no structural damage to the foundation. He advised us to do nothing and assured us that the floor would continue to be structurally sound.  He even sat around the kitchen table after and once again answered all of our questions and concerns.  We found him to be a very pleasant,  honest and trustworthy person. <br /> <br />  <br /> <br />Obviously, Seismic Technologies was more focused on the scientific evaluation than on trying to drum up foundation work. Jays' experience and credentials were excellent as was the quality of his work. We recommend Seismic Technologies.   The money we paid was well worth it. "There are a lot of options when it comes to treating a concrete floor, and it was confusing to us about which way to go.  Jake explained the pros and cons of all our options in a way that made clear what would best suit our needs - we went with polishing and staining.  My husband and I  were having trouble choosing an exact color for the floor, so Jake ended up mixing a couple of colors, creating a new color that we are super happy with.   We were in a serious time crunch - the floor had to be finished before the carpenter, who was leaving on a 2 week vacation, could rebuild the stairs that had been taken out.  Jake and his crew bent over backwards to finish our floor in time for the stairs to get built, even though it meant putting in some very long days.  The floor is beautiful, and we love it!  Jake was reliable and very responsive to our needs.  My husband and I highly recommend him."
