"I am a general contractor who has built over fifty custom homes. I met Dorel, the owner of Bello Hardwood Flooring, over 20 years ago when he did work at my personal home. I found him to be one of the best in the hardwood flooring business. Included in that opinion is he is equally good at installing vinyl flooring. The first job he did for me was an old school, finish in place, oak hardwood, side nailed floor in my home. The job included a 24X26 family room, dining room, kitchen, nook, laundry room, pantry, and 1/2 bath. Every square inch we absolutely perfect. Subsequently, I have recommend Dorel to many people, including both of my daughters, where he installed pre-finish hardwood in their houses. They both raved about his work. He is an accountable, one man band who takes great pride in every job he installs. Occasionally his very polite and enthusiast 18 year old son, Seth, will assist him. "Vitalii, owner of BFA Flooring, was personable and professional. After showing me the high and low points of the subfloor, Vitalii explained why it should be leveled, and how the process was done. He noticed the bathroom tile protruded into the bedroom and said they would cut the tile back, so the transition would be under the door. Vitalii also viewed the manufacturer’s instructions and installed it accordingly, in order to preserve the warranty. Vitalii and Mike did excellent work. They took care to protect my hallway floors, worked diligently and meticulously, and did a thorough clean-up afterward. The work was done in one day and the wood flooring and baseboards look amazing! I would definitely hire them again."

"I had a terrible experience hiring Radtko to install laminate floors in my house. He is a dishonest person who cares nothing about the qualify of his work or the well being of his customers: 1) We had a quality laminate installed but it was not installed correctly. There are many areas that are flexing and making noises when walking over because they failed to remove all particles from the subfloor correctly. This is a very important part of the job. We have a concrete slab foundation and there is no reason why there should be any flexing/noise. I have spoken to several other contractors and they all say the same thing....that the floor was not prepared and installed correctly. 2) We had agreed to do all areas of the home besides the bedrooms on the first day. This was made perfectly clear on the day they started the work. Well, they decided to move furniture in a bedroom and started demolishing the carpet and sanding down the sub floor. This caused excess dust to fly around the bedroom on to the bed and in to the closet. 3) They do not cover areas of the house to prevent dust from entering. We had the tile in our kitchen removed which caused a lot of dust and debris in the air. They did not cover the kitchen cabinets and we had to remove everything and clean it ourselves. The whole house was filled with a dense smog from the demolition of the kitchen tiles because they failed to create plastic barriers to keep the dust/debris in one location. There are other things that I could mention but think these three complains should be enough to warn those who are considering hiring this company."
