"Excellent! I can't say enough about Juan Trujillo. He was courteous and professional on the phone when I called. Since I knew exactly what needed to be replaced he was able to give me a quote over the phone. The plastic, original to house, pressure reducing valve was leaking and I knew the old twisty shut off valves were shot. He was very specific that he only used all brass valves for replacement parts. Gave me a realistic expectation when he would arrive. Pouring rain and Northern VA traffic on days like this and he was here like he stated. He inspected the problem, quoted me the price again, and got the work done in a timely manner. He tested the system and didn't try selling me anything else that I didn't need. I am VERY HAPPY with the work that was performed. I am glad he was able to fit me into his schedule today. ",Was some confusion about whether a Virginia-based franchise of this firm should do this work or whether my Virginia zip code falls into the service catchment of the Kensington, MD franchise, which apparently it does.  Was also some confusion about time of appointments.  Franchisee's published telephone was not always staffed.
That said, the quality of work couldn't have been better.  The seams at the drain between paint and chrome are still holding up.  The serviceman did neglect to warn me that since a new chrome drain sleeve would be fitted inside the old drain, the drain entry diameter would be smaller and any hair/lint traps might not fit.  I had to buy a new loose-fitting trap for the tub.
This was the second time I have tried to have this work done.  The first time was a handyman I use who apparently bought a kit from Home Depot.  He charged me several hundred dollars more than Miracle Method, and the job lasted several months and started to peel.

"Over the past year Santos has provided several plumbing services. He repaired a leaking pipe in my master bath, furnished and installed a gas 50 gallon hot water tank, furnished and installed a new garbage disposal, installed a kitchen faucet I provided, replaced two outdoor hose bibs, replaced the main water intake valve and installed a pressure regulator, replaced two other shut off valves. He has always been prompt and worked quickly and efficiently. Very happy with the service from Metropolitan and would recommend them to anyone. The total price for all these services was $2,740.00"

"Darren is not one of those contractors who talk you into signing the contract, then disappear and leave the work to a crew from Home Depot. He knows roofing and knows how to direct his crew, and they did a great job all the way around. The roof was in bad condition, and our contract had the list of things to do, but the crew found lots of other issues and dealt with them all rather than brush them off as off-contract. I get the sense that they honestly wanted the roof to be perfect when they were finished. The crew finished a day late on a two-week contract, but Darren knocked a few bucks off to make up for it."
