"The electrical cord did not reach the outlet box so I have to use an extension cord to operate the door opener. Tech said that if an inspector looked at it that this would be illegal Wondered why the motor was installed in this matter. I paid, I believe over $800 for substandard work. Now I need an electrician to correct the problem. I'm not satisfied with this job."

"They installed a garage opener for us and then forgot about the key pad installation. They installed the key pad, no problem, in like 15 minutes. Great job!!!!"

"Robert was punctual, efficient, and affordable. I would recommend Robert for all garage door repairs wholeheartedly. He said he'd arrive at 7:30 and the total cost would be $125. AND he was exactly right! No upscale or add-on. Seriously great service."

"Good work, they replaced the spring that helps a roll-up door in opening. They also put the door back together after it came off the tracks.. Thank-you"

"Mega Power was great! I hired them to go solar on my house and the solar analyst that came out was very helpful from day one. He was not just simply a sales guy he gave me his personal cell phone that I was able to call anytime if I had questions or wanted updates about my project.
My project was about 6 kW and consisted of 22 panels, each panel was 275 Watts. What I loved about these guys is that all the products they installed were American made products, warrantied for 25 years! Working with Jonathan (our sales guy) was another reason I chose to go with Mega Power. Every step of the way Jonathan was informative, and just professional from day 1. Price quotes with other companies were similar, so I simply chose the company that provided me the best service before signing anything."

"We purchased this deal to have all of our windows cleaned. We had not been in our home for approximately six months, due to our son having a heart transplant. We contacted America's Best at the time we purchased the deal and set a date for the work to be done. We were having quite a bit of work done so we could bring our son home (and the house was dusty/dirty/not lived in) and we were trying to schedule all of the work within the same period so that one of us would be able to be at our house while the other was with our son at a condo we had rented near the hospital.
When I called to confirm the appointment (the day before it was scheduled,) they could not find it on their books. I had the name of the person that I spoke with, the date and the time of the call, but they did not have the appointment. They were apologetic, but the best they could do was one week later. This messed up the plan with other providers, and I ended up having to change several other appointments as a result.
I had been told that there were additional charges for things like over-sized windows, second story windows, french doors, bay windows, screens, etc., and I went over with the appointment setter/phone estimator my windows one by one and came up with a price, which was approximately $80 more than the deal. When they arrived, they suddenly couldn't do my screens because they are invisible screens which roll out when the windows are open. Rather than charge me for bay windows, they charged for over-sized multi panel, inflating the price. I had specifically discussed the inside and outside of the windows, but according to the person doing the cleaning, the price was for one or the other.
I called to the company and was able to negotiate a deal on the phone, but it was still quite a bit more ($100.!!) than what I had been expecting. She then told me that for next time, they offer better deals w/out using the Angie's Deal. What is the point of that? I have not called them again, and likely will not.
