"While this was just a quick replacement of an outlet, my history with Griffin Electrical goes way back. I called Daine out years ago for some additional outlet help and he was the friendliest electrician I’ve ever dealt with. He answered all my questions and his work was top notch. I’ve now used him multiple times over the last few years and it’s always a pleasure dealing with him. I wish more people were as honest and hardworking as he is. You’re in good hands with Griffin!"

"Gavin with McNatt Electric was communicative; punctual; experienced & knowledgeable. He completed the work quickly and did a professional level job (as expected). The price charged for the job was 💯 fair & reasonable. Also, there was NO attempt to upsell or add on services that I did not inquire about or need; sadly some other companies out there will do that. Always great to find a reputable company and reputable people. I would 💯 hire again and recommend to friends / family. 10/10 all around. Thanks."

"They showed up on time, provided a reasonable price, and performed the work in a timely manner. I'm only docking a star for work quality because they mounted my EVSE a bit hastily and had to slightly re-position it with new mounting holes to reach the 240V outlet they installed. The measurements were known beforehand, so this could have been avoided. The unused mounting holes are mostly covered by the EVSE mounted on the wall of my garage. The actual electrical work appeared to be top-notch."

"I am Extremely Pleased! Cheyenne, my serviceman was very knowledgeable and explained everything that he was doing. He quoted me the price before he did the work, which was very reasonable. I am very very pleased with his work and I am actually having him come back to fix other electrical problems that my old house has. Thank you so much for the professional work he did!"

"Technician was punctual and friendly. He also checked inside the wall where a problem could potentially be, but made minimal disruption to the sheetrock and told me how to repair it to possibly be opened again if the outdoor faucet froze up into the wall. Tidied up the area nicely"

"This was my first time using a contractor based on an Angie?s List listing, and though I was a bit apprehensive about it, the Angie?s List service did what I was hoping that it would do: it ensured a very smooth contractor experience.
Jill at Handyman Matters corresponded with me via email, which was excellent. That allowed a minimum amount of time needed for coordination. She was also very flexible on the installation date because I was awaiting the arrival of the special-ordered garbage disposal at the local Lowe's outlet. Once I picked up the item at Lowe's, I emailed Jill to let her know that I was ready to schedule the installation. She was able, amazingly, to schedule it for two days later.
Armando showed up right on time at our home to install the component, after first uninstalling the old disposal. He had a difficult time fitting the new disposal onto the existing mounting ring (which was also practically brand-new, which is why we chose not to install the new mounting ring that came with the new disposal). He also was required to install the cord from the old disposal onto the new disposal (we both knew that ahead of time).
There was one point where Armando could have left the new disposal "precariously mounted" and that would have been adequate. However, he remarked that "he wanted to do it right" and continued to wrestle with the installation of the new disposal on the mounting ring until he finally got a good, snug fit. I was VERY impressed with that particular facet of Armando's installation process.
I knew going in that there would be a one-time $50 service charge included in the final bill, and though I am unsure of what that is all about, I paid it without hesitation; the price paid match the price quoted before the installation at the time of scheduling the appointment. My gut reaction is that the service charge allows the company to remain competitive with other similar companies. Other than the one-time service charge, I think that the final bill was fair, charging the amount of labor that was required (2 hours). Part of that time was filled by Armando having to visit our local hardware store to pick up a needed extender tube with clamps because he had to cut off part of the existing tubing to fit the new disposal correctly. Once again, I was very impressed by his desire to "do the job right." He could have left part of the drain tube resting against the disposal, but I was very pleased to see that he ensured that this did not happen (thus preventing the disposal from vibrating against the drain tube during operation).
Finally, Armando did a cleanup of the work area and then checked the new disposal for proper operation. He also gave me some much-needed tips about the use of the new disposal that should extend its life considerably.
Oh . . . I also asked Armando to take a quick look at one of our three toilets that had leaked water onto the floor a couple of weeks ago (we had shut off its water supply so that Armando could then look at it for us). He did a thorough inspection of it and then turned on its water supply. We both watched for any leaks but could find none. Armando told me what to watch for and how to let Handyman Matters know the specifics if it were to leak again. Basically, he restored the use of this toilet to us without any additional charge, etc. by doing a professional re-enabling of its water supply and then monitoring it briefly for leaks.
We will definitely use Handyman Matters again in the future whenever the need arises and were very impressed with their quality of service. We have nothing negative to say about them, which is a rarity in today's business environment. We will also always request that Armando be our service technician for any future visits if he is available.

"Cheyenne with Triump Electrical Services is an incredible and reliable electrician. He provides fair and reasonable pricing and is very professional. I 100% recommend Triump for any electrical needs. I have a new-build home and needed a meter rack installed and the electrical setup for my well, septic and mini split. Cheyenne did an amazing job with all of them. I’m so glad I decided to hire him. He’s professional, reliable and knowledgeable. He took his time explaining everything to me. In addition to all of that, I believe he’s a good person. I had such a great experience with Triump that I called Cheyenne recently to upgrade my circuit breaker for an electric tankless water heater that I was having installed. And as expected, Cheyenne was responsive, provided fair pricing, and did excellent work. I plan on using Triump for all of my future electrical projects. I highly recommend you do too! Awesome professional and company!"

FAQs for electrical switches, outlets & fixtures install or repair projects in Nicoma Park, OK

To select and hire an electrician for your light switch installation, start by evaluating candidates as you would for any skilled position. Ask detailed questions, request a written quote, and verify their licensing credentials. This careful screening prevents unexpected fees and ensures every aspect of the installation, including any drywall repairs, complies with code.

A light switch can malfunction due to compromised wiring or overheating conditions. Faulty connections and excess heat diminish the switch’s performance. If you hear crackling, popping, or hissing sounds when toggling the switch, this indicates active electrical faults that pose a safety hazard and demand immediate professional inspection. Prompt attention prevents further damage and ensures reliable operation.

Installing a light switch takes 30 minutes or less, on average. The installation time depends on the switch type, with dimmer switches requiring additional time compared to standard on-off switches. While the hardware replacement might be completed in 15 minutes, it's essential to adhere to safety protocols, like turning off the circuit breaker and verifying there's no power, for a safe and code-compliant installation.
