"After replacing deteriorating dormer trim boards, they coordinated a painter to paint all wood areas on outside of home. They did a great job in a timely manner. They kept up updated regularly on scheduled delays due to rain. This was greatly appreciated."

"this is the second time we have had Legacy work on our home. Our home was built in 1992 and the windows and doors were not looking as good as we wanted. This time around we replaced 12 windows and two doors. Legacy also painted a fence for us and replaced some cedar that was bad"

"Prestige General Construction incapsulated my crawlspace that smelled moldy . Full of spiderwebs and dust. They did an amazing job. The incapsulation really cut down the musky smell in my basement and home. The crew was professional respectful and on time. I would hire them again and would recommend their services to anyone."

"I have worked with MPO Builders before, and the trouble is not especially their fault. The scheduling difficulties in what has been two weeks of correspondence are not that unusual in the business, but as it happens the problem that led me to seek their services is too urgent to keep waiting on this kind of back and forth. I will secure a general contractor through Angie's List who can visit my place this week and take care of a shower that is leaking into the living room ceiling. I feel that purchasing a big deal for this sort of thing was not particularly realistic, and appreciate your help so that I can resume showering ASAP! Thanks."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Niles, MI

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
