"We went with Elizabeth Shutters because they are made in the USA and lead time was much less than anyone else. Cost was about in the middle of the others we received quotes on. We were very excited to get our shutters installed. Mike the installer was on time and professional. The issue is the actual quality of the shutters. We only had 5 windows done and every shutter has some type of mark from scratches, chips, gouges and even paint rolling down one. Most of the issues were on the frames but some on the actual shutters. We also were having a shade installed but the bracket was not correct. Things happen and I even understand some issues with product. My complaint is that I reached out to Elizabeth Shutters exactly 1 week ago today. Told them of the quality issues and sent pictures. Also commented that pictures are hard to see everything and I was hopeful someone would come out and look. I also asked when the bracket would be in for the shades. Again 1 week ago and I have heard nothing back. That is not acceptable."

"One day we noticed a musty smell in our bathroom. Behind the toilet the baseboard was discoloring and rotting out. We called our insurance company and the leak had damaged the wall and floor. The insurance company gave us a list of contractors to call. We called three of them left messages and waited. Well we didn’t have to wait long for Berry Construction. Randy called us back almost immediately. He was caring, empathetic, professional and explained the whole process from start to finish. We were very happy with Mike, Billy and the entire staff. We had open communication through the whole process, and they did an amazing job making us whole again. "No doubt they hire great installation people, but their communication and honoring their quotes has little to be desired. I will elaborate. I was given a quote, left on my voicemail. I responded the next day letting NRG know I accepted their quote. 1 week later I received a phone call telling me they wouldn't honor the quote give, and they cited the reasons as Tarif's. This was back in April 2025. I still went with NRG, albeit at a$1000.00 increase. The second reason I wouldn't recommend this company, and this for me is the final straw, after installing my solar NRG didn't let me know I needed to have an ESR release, in layman's terms this is necessary for your power company to accept your new solar system. I found out this information when they contacted me in August 2025. NEG blamed the company who upgraded my Electrical Panel. NRG INSTALLED MY SOLAR AFTER THE PANEL WAS UPGRADED. Since this company doesn't communicate with its clients I would say go with another company."

"Joe was very easy to work with, and did excellent work. His prices were very reasonable, and he often threw in things at no extra cost, which was wonderful! One of the things that I really appreciated was that he responded back to me promptly whenever I texted him. True to any business, there were times when unexpected things came up and he had to postpone work that he had planned to be doing for me on a certain day, but he always communicated these issues to me, and when I had something that really needed to be done right away (such as getting the plumbing to the washing machine fixed on a weekend) he found a way to make it happen. I will definitely be hiring Joe to do work for me again in the future."

"You should probably add 4-6 weeks to the expected delivery date if you expect to need the "enclosed" hardware. I received the blinds in the estimated time, but it came without the required hardware. I have made 4 calls (at least) over several weeks, but the hardware is nowhere in site. It is clear that SelectBlinds.com is a marketing company only has outsourced all production and fulfillment to third parties and evidently has a difficult time coordinating these type of customer service issue. Extremely frustrating that my blinds have been sitting in the floor for over a month and all I need is a few screws. Happy to go to Home Depot to get the screws, but SelectBlinds can't even tell me what sizes I need."
