We also asked if he could hook up our washer water supply, and he was unable to do so and recommended we re-run the pipes and valves as they were too old. We had another plumber coming out the next day from a previous work order, and asked for the estimate - it was half the price of Hope's, and he was able to attach the water connections with no problem. Felt like Hope plumber was just trying to invent work to get paid for."

The new piping to the water heater was changed to flexible gas piping, not supported and does not have a sediment trap or dirt leg, which I thought was required by code.
