"Steven was absolutely awesome. He had great ideas on updating the look of the hose without breaking the bank. His crew was very responsive. Had an issue with the guys covering the dryer vent and they fixed it promptly. Steven helped me pick paint choices and when I wanted to add more painting on some additional trim - he agreed it was a good idea and just sent the painters over - no hassle. We also had a garage door replaced, added features to back and front porch, had a window removed, replaced guttering around the house and resided/ painted the whole house and trim. I think you will be really happy with the product and can’t beat the service."

"We ordered 2 windows on May 4th (Saturday) the order was officially dated May 6th (Monday). I understand dating the order for the following week on a Saturday. We were told (and the contract states 6-8 weeks) that the windows would be in the last week of June. The salesperson verified that the windows would be in no later than the last week in June. I checked with Thermal Windows about 5 weeks into the order to verify that everything was fine and the windows would arrive when promised, the answer was yes everything was fine with the order. But - it ended up taking almost 11 weeks to get two fairly standard-size windows. This delay pushed the entire project off and meant having to reschedule contractors and then having to wait until they were available again to complete the work. We are replacing a set of doors with windows so it is not as simple as taking one out and putting another in an existing space. There is framing, sheathing, brickwork, etc. Brian (not sure of his title) drove to Tulsa(?) to the plant and picked up our windows, after he arranged a time for us to pick up the windows he called my husband back after he realized he would drive right by us on the way back from Tulsa and offered to deliver the windows. My husband was happy with the delivery and windows. The windows themselves look good and appear to have good quality but the customer service side of the company leaves a lot to be desired. Mixed messages from different staffers, being told our windows were not on the truck and would have to wait another three weeks for the next delivery, etc. When it finally got to Brian he took care of the issue to the best of his ability. The company needs more than one person who can answer questions accurately and needs to implement a better order tracking and information system. A folder on a desk is not an efficient method for order tracking."

"I recently had 19 windows replaced in an older home. They had originally estimated a two day install. They arrived early and had the whole house shored up in one day! Their work was impeccable and they were very professional. I was amazed at how quickly and methodically they worked. All in all, I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend this company!"

"WOW! Just WOW! Our house is 36 years old and desperately needed new siding. Having done our research, we knew we wanted James Hardie Siding. After reading all the great reviews about Salute Exteriors and Cliff, I called. I was impressed that Cliff returned my call so quickly and once setting up a time to do an estimate was even more impressed as he was so easy to communicate with. He is such a delightful person, very personable and professional. To me, communication is key! He communicated throughout the whole process. The amazing part besides how wonderful it looks is how quickly the work began and was finished. The siding crew came even on days that were extremely cold. They were so professional, and the workmanship was incredible. I was very impressed that they didn’t block my car so I could get in and out of my garage, if needed. Most workers don’t think to do that. They were friendly and considerate. They never left a mess! Their work was just fabulous. Oh, and the painters!! What a great crew they were. Again, I was amazed at how quickly they got the job done and how professional they were. I was blown away when I walked out after the first day of painting and saw the transformation. I couldn’t believe how quickly it was completed. It looks so good!! They paid attention to even the tiniest detail!! They were great!! From the beginning to the end, it was EXCELLENT! Cliff is so easy to work and communicate with."

"During a recent cold spell we had ICE form on the inside of the windows. Not just a little frost but solid ICE. When I called Thermal Windows about this issue they replied that they have had several calls during this cold spell with the same issue. They proceeded to tell me this was normal, then listed all the things I could do to reduce the amount of ice on the windows. 1- Remove window coverings ( I do not have any) 2- Reduce the humidity in the house ( currently at 31%). 3- Place a fan at each window to circulate air. These windows were installed by them, on a new construction house a little over a year ago. FROM INSTALLATION TO CUSTOMER THIS IS NOT THE SAME COMPANY IT WAS JUST A FEW YEARS AGO. CAN NOT RECOMMEND!"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Norman, OK

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
