"Chip and the team did a fantastic job on our master bathroom! We really liked the coach approach to the project! After a consultation and some measurements we had a shopping list and some guidelines. Chip would check in from time to time and was available to answer any questions we had during the purchasing phase. We also received a project worksheet that was updated weekly via email with a summary of the project's status during the work phase. The guys were great, all skilled and a pleasure to be around. We'll definitely be contacting them for future projects!"

"I was very happy with the solution Alden came up with. I had spoken to another landscaping company and an engineer, and their solutions were not feasible. Alden's solution was both reasonable to carry out and effective. His solution had three parts: adding soil to change the grade so that water would run away from the house, adding an exterior drain pipe to catch the water and deposit it downhill from my house, and removing a brick flowerbed that was trapping the water so that it would not flow away from my house. The drain pipe was installed at ground level and just empties out onto the hill beneath my house. This was so simple I am surprised this did not occur either to me or anyone else. (I did not mind losing the flowerbed since I am not a gardener and honestly it just added another chore I was glad to be rid of.) Alden also noticed that my outdoor AC unit was about to topple over and added soil to level out the ground beneath the pad on which the AC rested. In general, I found Alden to be experienced in rain and groundwater management, creative in coming up with solutions, professional, and easygoing. His workers were nice and worked efficiently. And I am convinced that this is the best way for most homeowners to effectively waterproof their basement -- using soil grading and ground-level drain pipes to keep rainwater running along the ground away from the house; I think this is more effective and less intrusive than interior water proofing, and that the common method you see of digging to the foot of the foundation and installing the drain pipe there, then backfilling with gravel is unnecessary unless the water problem is that it is actually coming up from below ground rather than that it is running along the ground toward the house."

"Our pebble drive way was completely replaced with pavers and excellent draining system. The walk way up to the house was newly installed with landscaping on either sides. More landscaping and the side and the back yard were also renovated. These areas now have a beautiful garden appearance. Many neighbors have stopped and complemented on the excellent work done by the company. And now even in the winter time our property is truly magnificent. The workers at every stage of the process were hard working and conscientious and extremely knowledgeable about plants, grasses, bushes, trees, and flowers. Now we are looking forward to seeing the flowers coming up in the spring."

He was great at helping me design the kitchen to reflect what I wanted while lending his expertise to make suggestions for details that I would never have thought of. He was also very flexible to requests that I would think of mid-project and make them happen without any issues. The work itself was great. The kitchen looks beautiful and has improved my house tremendously. The price was better than some competitors and was very reasonable. "Steve did what they said they were going to do and did it on time. The job was neat and the final result was outstanding. Steve was very honest and took a consultative approach prior to the sale. What impressed me the most was what occurred after the job. One of the trees that was planted never really flourished and ended up dying. I reached out to CKC well beyond the warranty and explained the situation. Within a few weeks I had a new tree. I’m not one to take the time to write reviews but I felt so compelled to do so due to the professionalism and character exhibited by Steve and his company. CKC could have easily just walked away or not responded but they went over and above to please me as a customer. At the end of the day you can’t put a price tag on strong ethics and human decency. In a time when small business owners are suffering and every penny matters CKC still put common decency ahead of the almighty dollar. When it comes to landscaping and hardscaping I won’t do business with anyone else."
