Some businesses focus more on the bottom line, and in turn, the quality of work suffers for the customer. This isnâ t the case with Milltown Plumbing and Heating when I called them to service my central A/C which wasn't cooling the house. Even though my unit is in need of replacement, Jay, their Field Service Technician was able to at least get the A/C up and running. He was honest and straightforward in assessing my problem and suggested I meet with a comfort advisor in regard to a new central A/C unit. My experience didn't change. The comfort advisor I met with gave me a variety of options for a replacement unit, again he was courteous and honest. "Had a pinhole leak in a copper pipe, in tight quarters. Found Doug on the internet, he picked up the call. Told me he'd call me back to discuss that evening... and actually did (a rarity). Had me text pictures and based on those figured out the approach and said he'd come the next day. Came when he said he would and fixed the problem inside of an hour. Pricing was absolutely reasonable. Was happy to chat about a couple of other potential projects I had. In a world where it's difficult to find reliable skilled trades, I have nothing but the highest recommendation for Doug."

"Brian and his crew were great. Brian came out and gave a great estimate for everything I needed. He was very responsive via email as we worked to schedule a time for his crew to come do the work, which was mainly water tank and heating system maintenance. Brian brought Jim promptly and explained the work. They then pointed out a couple of things that they recommended replacing, one they just included in the original cost estimate and another they added on due to additional parts being purchased. Jim was very thorough and professional and, by all accounts, did great work. I’ll be using Heavy Doody for all of my future plumbing and heating needs!"

"Seemed pretty inexperienced (although not sure that is unique these days given staffing shortages). Didn’t really understand the ask about the bathtub drain being clogged. Did correctly fix the shower issue, but when they replaced the fixture they didn’t screw it in all the way so the next few showers let a lot of water into the wall until we realized and fixed. Overall did the job and came in reasonable time but seemed to be very new to the job."
