"Paul and his team were fantastic from start to finish. Ace is his locally owned company and he and his team clearly take pride in their work and in making sure the customer is pleased with the result. We had a blocked sewer line/storm drain that had backed up into the basement. Ace were one of the first companies to call but the only one to ask detailed questions about the problem, rather than just sell me on how quickly they could get to us (which of course does matter and they were out to us promptly and on time). And that also gave me more confidence about the estimated cost range that the Ace rep I spoke with provided. Once Paul and co arrived their assessment was that the blockage was at or just over the boundary line at which point it becomes the responsibility of the MDC rather than the property owner -- which can matter greatly if expensive excavation, Street repaving etc is needed (which I know from a prior battle royale with MDC). The thought of having to again deal with MDC had me at Defcon 1. I watched Paul interact very professionally and courteously with the MDC Inspector (whom he didn't know) ... after a fair amount of deliberation they were able to utilize Paul's equipment in a way that thoroughly resolved the situation without having to elevate things within MDC. When the MDC Inspector confirmed to me he hadn't worked with Ace/Paul and then unsolicited told me Paul was excellent and really skilled, I knew I had picked the right company for the job ... and that was before Paul decided not to charge me for a substantial chunk of the 90 minutes we spent earlier waiting for the MDC Inspector to arrive. While I'm hopeful there wont be a "next time," Paul and the Ace Electric Sewer team are the first company I'll be calling if there is. Cheers"

"I will keep this review simple but thorough. 1 1/2 months before hiring ADB I had a sewage backup in my basement. 11p put the request in. 11:05p another company called. Because of the urgency with two kids, they got the job. Bad idea (but that isn't for here). Fastforward 1 1/2 months later, the same issue was back and Home Advisor recommended a few high quality companies with great reviews. I went with ADB and what a smart move (finally). Some services charge for clearing of the pipe and then another charge for a camera. ADB does not and I think that makes a big difference. All I can say is that I appreciate the professionalism of this company, the tech was funny and laughing with me through a tough situation, and was also clearly knowledgable and guiding. I really thought it was a great experience and would recommend ADB Construction for anything you need. Trust them. You not only get what you pay for here but you also get a tremendous backing and support after, if you need it. This is a REAL professional company."

Arrived on time and spent several hours replacing a bathtub/shower set up with a laundry room setup but while doing all that told us to call Granite Group to see if they would deliver a new hot water heater and because he had the time that day he could replace that for us also. "I talked with several contractors regarding a flooding basement problem, and received a wide range of contradicting proposals from sump pumps to new interior footer drains to various exterior solutions.  I chose M&M because their proposal was straightforward, along the lines of what made the most sense to me.  M&M's price was comparable to some other drainage and landscape companies, and significantly lower than one of the older companies.  Anthony from M&M answered my questions directly, and included additional work such as grading of the property in the quoted price as well as things I'd forgotten to mention, "sure, no problem."  He guaranteed the workmanship and offered sound advice, i.e., not to include a sump pump at this point since the outside work would likely solve the problem.
While $4000 might seem high for  2 days work, the operation was substantial and impressive, as were the skills of the crew.  They worked hard and efficiently - excellent work ethic.  They did everything as promised, plus took out an old shrub (with permission) in order to create a better drain route, and leveled an odd hump in the yard that indirectly effected drainage. Everything was cleaned up and finished with topsoil and grass seed.  They returned on a later date to address an issue with a walkway slab, no problem.  We are happy with the results.  For the first time since living here, the basement hasn't flooded during heavy rains.  Our drainage issues seem to be solved - money well spent.
