"Very hard to initially schedule a time or receive call backs but once the time was set up, everything went very well. They had limited product selection but we were able to do all windows but one and the coverings came in much ahead of schedule and installation was very quick and well done. Installation and cordless shades were no upcharge which kept the price down quite a bit."

"Beyond expectations. Had other window cleaner refuse to take off storm windows because of their age and condition. Dan had no problem with that. Very thorough job. Windows had a LOT of grime and required a lot of work. He was prompt and very pleasant to work with. I'm having him come back again in early summer to keep up the maintenance. <br /> Definitely would recommend his company again. <br />"

"Reglaze did the window replacement at my work and I saw firsthand their work product, care, and expertise. There were some difficult windows in our offices (we work in a converted house) and they were able to handle them with no problem, restoring the integrity of the structure in all cases. I was so impressed that when it was time to replace windows in my personal home I contacted Reglaze to see if they could give me a quote. Pete came out to the house and talked me through our project to replace 8 windows. He did a great job of setting expectations, talking me through options and even talked me out of replacing a couple windows that were in excellent condition. I really appreciated that (he was so right). Reglaze’s quote came in lower than the others that I had obtained and I knew they did good work so I hired them. We live in a 93 year old house with a stucco exterior. To say we always encounter problems with home improvement projects would be an understatement. One company came to do a quote, saw the stucco and left saying “sorry we don’t do stucco houses”. We had several windows we knew would be problematic. One was a homemade double pane window that was completely crumbling between the two layers of glass, one window had been water damaged years prior, several windows had never been able to open since installation 40 years ago, and more issues. We talked through our concerns with Pete and his crew and I prepared for the worst. Reglaze got to work. They were so very careful in our home making sure to cover and protect everything around the work site. I felt completely comfortable letting them work while I was at the office and they provided excellent communication during the project. They tackled each window with skill and care and I was in awe each night when I came home. The workmanship was top notch. The homemade and crumbling window looked absolutely perfect, like it should have looked when the house was built. One window had to have a completely new sill and window box built to fix a previous poor installation and it was a masterpiece. Every day I marvel at how good it looks, like it is original to the house. The guys did a beautiful job. I had planned for overages due to our tricky job (that is usually the case for projects on our house) but they came in on budget and the work was impeccable. I would recommend Reglaze to everyone! Especially if you have a difficult job like we did. From our first phone call to invoicing, everything was smooth and they were all a pleasure to work with."

"I called Einar Johanson to obtain a quote in early April. Representative came to the house a few days later and gave me an estimate of $1350 for three window panes. Windows were 66"x42", 29"x18" and 16"x30". He said the windows would be ready within two to three weeks but because of a backlog may not be able to install until July at the earliest. Was not a problem so I went ahead with the purchase. Requested a $300 deposit which I paid. They called in early June to say they had an early opening for two reasons. One, I am not far from the business and two, the job wouldn't take much more than an hour and a half. Scheduled for June 10th at 9:00. They arrived about 8:00 that day and I was not home but someone else was to let them in to install. House is a rambler so access was easy. When I arrived about 9:15 they were just finishing up. Cleaned the new windows and removed old and any excess material. Polite, professional and efficient. The kind of businesses I like to work with. They have done work for me before and I will use them again."

"Great service and terrific product! I had a damaged patio slider screen and four odd-sized crank-out windows whose screens were missing since I purchased the town home. From my initial contact with Screenman's telephone agent Nathalie through the work done by Jose and Rich, this was a great experience! Nathalie asked great questions and had me send photos of the small windows. She guided me as to my frame color choices (what we selected blends beautifully) and offered an upgrade to "view mesh" screen for my patio slider since it looks out onto my garden. Nothing high-pressure and I'm glad I upgraded. Jose and Rich called to say they were arriving a bit early and patiently waited until I could get home from work. After confirming the measurements (and helping me move a couple plants from the bathroom tub deck where two of the windows were) they produced and installed the screens amazingly fast with minimal disruption. They were here just under an hour! The screens look really good; Jose and Rich recommended a clip frame style which was different from what I had ordered on the phone - it looks better and was even more economical; that is true customer-centered service. It looks like Rich even cleaned the track for my patio slider screen. I highly recommend Screenman. The price was worth it for the convenience (custom screens made AT YOUR HOUSE!) and the quality and appearance of the product."

"The entire process went very well, from the initial phone call to the installation. Joe Blundell was able to come out to my house to verify the dimensions of the window needing replacement without my having to take a day off from work. The price was a bit high, but I understand that mine was a small project in a very busy season for window guys. The gentleman who did the installation was very polite and professional. He left no mess behind and even cleaned the new window after installation. The window has a 20-year warrantee on insulation and All Service Glass provides a 1-year warrantee on installation. I'm very happy with the results."

"We've had ProCare coming to both our home and our rental for several years, for high-up things on our tall roof, like gutter cleaning, roof cleaning and window washing. They are the best! They always do everything they say they'll do and more, for example letting me know about any issue they find with the flashing or the gutters. Thanks to their communication I've avoided several potentially expensive repairs, by catching problems while still minor. They're super nice and go the extra mile, cleaning up debris etc. Price is very reasonable considering the great job. Highly recommend!"

FAQs for new windows service projects in North Bend, WA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
