"Roman and Alex where great to work with. They where very responsive to any questions that i had. The window and door installers have had years of experience replacing windows, as it showed in their workmanship. The windows and doors I purchased where Sunrise Windows. You can see that they are well made and that the factory takes pride in their product. I will definately continue to use Discount Windows for the contiued replacement of my windows in my home."

"<p>We have used The Window Replacement Company for all of our doors, and most of our windows over the years - three sliding doors, front door, bathroom window, and most recently five picture windows in the family room.   They are very good, reasonably priced, and can install most manufacturers (we are partial to Marvin Windows).  Peter gives his recommendations for windows, is a good listener, measures only once, and everything fits and looks beautiful.   The installers are professional, seasoned, and precise.  They clean up after themselves, and make sure you are happy before leaving.  </p> <p>There are more windows we'll need to replace, and we?ll call The Window Replacement Company when we continue.   </p> <br />"

"There was a component that needed to be replaced. They had the part. They went so far as to check on my warranty status, and found out that I did indeed have a remaining warranty for replacement of the part and the related labor. This was done without the need for me to find my original invoice. I only had to pay the trip charge plus pull down/put back up labor."

"We hired the Egress Window Guy to install a new egress window in place of a leaking glass block window in our basement. Their quote process was easy and straight forward. Installation was done within one day, and we couldn't be happier with the results. There is so much more light coming into our basement now, and we have a lot more peace of mind knowing it is an additional exit point should we ever need it (hopefully we don't). We are thrilled with the results and would recommend the Egress Window Guy to anyone in the market for adding a new egress window to their home."

"This is the third time Ive had them come out. First time was 8 years ago to replace rotting wood bedroom windows. The second time was 2 yrs ago in 2017 to do custom kitchen windows. This time was in winter of 2019 - 1 bedroom, 1 living room and one large livingroom window. Our house ws new in 1992, but the windows were awful. Mold, rot and glass falling out. So we went with the best-Anderson. Those windows have held up well, so I have replaced most windows now. The salesman Tim is very helpful. The installers are professional and quick and clean up afterwards. Last time it was winter and I hid in bedroom watchng tv with the dogs. The room stayed warm and they were done in no time. It is a crew of 4 so its done fast. They are polite and hardworking. I do not understand the bad reviews at all. After I experience with windows I only wanted the best."

"The window washing went well. The crew was quick, clean and the windows were excellently cleaned. The screen replacement did not go well which prompted the company to send someone to repair the screen which was not installed correctly."

"We're finishing our basement, and so it's not a cave, we wanted a glass block window in the bathroom. Rick was getting ready for his booth at the state fair, but since it was one window, he said he could make it and install it before the fair opened. Otherwise, I would have had to wait until the fair ended. He talked with our contractor by phone so the opening could be framed to spec. Two days later he showed up with the window, and installed it. It fit perfectly, and he advised how to finish the inside."

"My home had several windows with defective panes of glass: one cracked, a dozen fogged up to varying degrees due to broken seals. Reading online reviews, two companies stood out. I had representatives from both come out to measure and provide bids. Both bids were reasonable, and I knew I couldn’t go wrong with either company, but in the end, I’m glad I went with Trustworthy Glass. I can’t recommend them highly enough! From start to finish everything went smoothly. Becky, who does customer service was very responsive throughout the process, and I liked that Andy, Jr., who came to survey the windows, took his time and clearly knew what he was doing. By the time he left, I felt confident that Trustworthy would do a good job. Andy provided a detailed bid in a timely manner and was quick to respond to a couple of follow-up questions. One of the things that I most appreciate about Trustworthy is that it’s a family-owned and run business, and that it’s family who’s doing and overseeing the work. The crew that came to do the work was great. Work on my house took two mornings. The first morning a crew of three, led by Andy, Sr., replaced glass on first floor windows and one upstairs. They were efficient and did high-quality work. The following day, son Ryan returned with a co-worker, equipped to replace glass on the remaining upper windows. Everyone was friendly, professional, and diligent. They clearly care about the quality of their work--and they were great about wearing protective foot gear and masks, and cleaning up…so that once they left, there was nothing for me to do but enjoy the windows. A neighbor, the president of my association, had one window replaced in her house. She said she would give Trustworthy an A+. I wholeheartedly concur!"

FAQs for new windows service projects in North Branch, MN

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
