"They attempted to replace a part in the water heater and when it did not solve the problem, they immediately diagnosed that our water heater needed to be replaced at a cost of $2,100 as the old one was "dead". Once they replaced our system with a brand new one, the problem persisted. At that time they recommended that the plumbing connected to the water heater needed to be replaced as they were old. Once they did that, the system started working. The above process proved to us that the original diagnosis was not accurate and that our existing water heater was not the problem to begin with as their new one also did not produce hot water until the pipes was fixed and we could've fixed the problem with a couple of hundreds of dollars of fixing the plumbing rather than a $2,100 unnecessary expense of changing the system. I asked them to take our old water heater and clean it up and bring it back for installation in a different location in our house. They kept our old system for over a month but never did any work on it and when I called and left a message for the owner of the business to get an update on the status of our repair, my calls would not be returned until I left a message that I would dispute my credit card payment of $2,100 if I did not get a return call with a status on the return of our old water heater; at which time the owner called back immediately and started yelling and screaming and accusing me of being the rudest person he had dealt with. I reminded him to think about his comment as he was the one who was not returning customers calls and that he was screaming at a customer and invited him to think as to who was the rude person. I asked him to return our heater which he did the following Monday and left it at our backdoor. I recommend you always get a second opinion on their recommendations before you award them a job."

We first hired Jeff in 2015 to create stone steps and walkways. We liked the result so much we worked again with him in 2017 when we dreamed about transforming our lackluster backyard. He patiently listened to our ideas and then designed our backyard oasis for us. He created an acre sized flagstone patio that included stone walkways and stairs, raised stone flower beds and circular stone fire pit, and an outdoor kitchen area. The project came in on time, on budget and to this day has no drainage or settling issues. My husband was hospitalized during these renovations and Jeff's control over these projects allowed me to focus completely on that, knowing my home was in trustworthy, competent hands. "We hired MPH plumbing to renovate our bathrooms (2 vanities, new shower/bath, 3 toilets, 4 faucets). It took a little longer than expected due to some damaged flooring and another scheduled job, but we're very happy with the overall outcome! Mike went to bat for us, too, when somehow I ordered a faucet without a drain/stopper and the distributor wanted to charge full price. Mike was available by text, phone, or email and gave updates of his progress. I had to do some minor touch ups (eg, caulking, silicone), but this was part of a complete renovation. So the painting, lighting, and bathroom accessories were my responsibility. Mike's a nice guy, too, and will be respectful of your property and pets. I would hire him again, but I don't have any more bathrooms to fix up. I only wish he did kitchen renovations!"
