"AJ is a great guy and has performed beyond expectations. He and his partner not only did bathroom fan install I requested but also completed many others I told him about when we interviewed. Including replacing light fixtures, replacing a sliding patio door and repairing rotted railing on my front porch. All in one weekend. He’s on track now for some more major repairs when all the fixtures needed come in. Highly recommend him for great service!"

Small jobs welcome

"The entire process from Quote to Installation was very thorough and seamless. Ryan went over the installation process in detail and answered all questions. The install went great as well. He was very considerate. He made sure that he wore protective feet coverings as well as a mask. He went over all the work that he performed and cleaned up all debris from the job. I really appreciate the up front pricing that is thoroughly outlined in his work manual. I would definitely use this company again."

"James showed up right on time. My project is more complicated than I originally thought. He thoroughly inspected my house and presented several options. Should we decide to move forward with the project, we will not hesitate to hire Manges Electric"

FAQs for attic or whole house fan installation projects in North Olmsted, OH

Installing an attic fan lowers attic temperatures and reduces moisture, protecting stored items and extending the life of roofing materials. It also prevents mold, mildew, and paint deterioration, enhancing energy efficiency and comfort in the home. This type of protection helps you avoid costly repairs in the future and maintains the integrity of your home.

Installing an attic fan may require multiple professionals. A roofing specialist or carpenter can create the vent and mount the fan securely, while a licensed electrician connects the system to the home's electrical supply. A dedicated attic fan installer may be able to tackle all of these areas themselves, so be sure to confirm what services they can provide. Hiring qualified professionals ensures the installation is safe and the attic fan operates reliably.

The lifespan of an attic fan depends on the type and how well it is maintained. Passive attic fans can last 40 to 50 years, while electric and solar models typically last 10 to 15 years. Regular cleaning and maintenance help ensure the fan operates reliably and safely. Ask your installation pro for their recommendations for ongoing maintenance and service to help your attic fan last for as long as possible.
