The day the work was scheduled, he was on time.. overall I was very pleased with the results. Before leaving, I told him about a light fixture just outside the bathroom that wasnâ t working. He was able to identify the problem which turned out to be a defective switch. He had the part and was able to repair the light fixture for a small fee. He was very professional with the work he performed."

In the interval I decided to have a similar fan installed into an additional bathroom. We talked once on the phone and on the morning of the appointment we discussed what was needed. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
