They moved and replanted flowers and plants that were encroaching my neighbors property and enlarged the garden by a few feet to accommodate the relocated planting’s . The workers are professional, attentive to detail and unceasingly polite and friendly. Our most recent job hit a snag when the fencing that D&D had included in the estimate was unavailable because of damage from late-winter snowstorms. No problem: the workers built a fence for us instead. The change in plans probably added two days to the planned schedule, but there were no complaints, no griping about additional cost and no changes to the final price. "Scott did a fabulous job and we are very happy with our walkway.  From the beginning he was very professional.  He responded to our request on Angie's list very promptly, came out within a couple of days to give us an estimate, and told us he would call us at the end of July, which he did.  He stuck with his original estimate, no surprises.  He also corrected problems with the original design by installing tread stones on the edges of the stairs.  It not only looks so much better, but is much more functional and will last longer.  I used to love that all of my flowers covered up my ugly walkway.  Now I don't want my plants hiding the walkway because it looks so good.  It is also secure, and draining properly, whereas the old stones had sunk and collected water.  We would highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for masonry work.  Oh, and I should mention that we got an estimate last summer from someone who never came back to do the work.  He was going to charge us almost as much as Scott, but never picked up on the fact that we were missing tread stones, and his estimate did not include the cost of tread stones.  He was not a true mason like Scott.
