"They arrived promptly when expected and executed the work to my complete satisfaction. The injection holes for the lifting foam don't stand out too badly and they only had to drill a few of them. The sidewalk was lifted to its proper height. After the lift, the sealing was applied and coated with quartz sand, more attractive than the original black material."

"Chris did an amazing job brick pointing our house and chimney. The brick mortar on our house was in desperate need of touching up and Chris did a phenomenal job. The job was done very quickly and he cleaned up so well you wouldn't have known he was there. Very pleased with the results and will definitely hire him again for our stone pointing!"

"Denis was very prompt in scheduling a time to come out and give me an estimate.  He explained all the details of what he could do to fix the face of our very old, poorly mortared-over foundation on the front of our house.  He and his team showed up right on time and were very polite and professional. They removed all of the old mortar and concrete, replaced stones where needed, ribbon-pointed all of the joints and seams, built a small curb to match our neighbor's, and really made our house look great. Our stone foundation now looks brand new.  He and his team did an outstanding job.  We had him come back a few weeks later to do the same to the rear foundation, and spot point some failing brick mortar on the side of our house. I'll definitely be using them in the future. <br />"

"G&B recently completed a driveway, sidewalks and patio with fire pit for us and it turned out beautifully. George offered several helpful suggestions for choosing the right color and stamping pattern to really tie the project in with the house. These extra details are why we chose G&B above the others. The crew was prompt on completing the projects as well as courteous and mindful of our neighbors during the job. Highly, highly recommend for any concrete needs."

"I emailed Carl about a leak in my basement and to inquire about him filling in a portion of my back patio with concrete. Carl came out to my house on a Saturday morning and thoroughly inspected my basement. Ultimately, he determined that my problem would be better served by a plumber. He also said that he could do my patio concrete but that I could get it done cheaper elsewhere. I really respected and appreciated his honestly and professionalism. If I do have a more advanced masonry need I will absolutely call Carl again."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in North Wales, PA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
