"They were very fast to respond to my call and were able to send someone within two hours. The replacement of the hot water heater went well. For the water pipes they use copper crimp fittings instead of soldering so it will be interesting to see how that holds up over the years. My only concern is how they ran the gas line. They use Gastite CSST which is fine, but the CSST is run so it goes downward then back up and then downward again before it enters black pipe that has a moisture trap. It seems to me that if there is any moisture it will end up in the CSST instead of the trap. In addition, there is a pretty good bend in the CSST right before it goes into the trap section. Also, Teflon tape was used on the all the joints instead of joint compound. I think I will get someone from a different company to come in and take a look at it."

I was told by the office staff that the installation of the new water heater (under lifetime warranty but only five years old when it needed replacing) would take up to six hours. The actual work time was closer to two and a half hours, most of the time was taken up waiting for the delivery of the new heater as well as half-way through Kenny left for another two hours, maybe even longer, to pick up an expansion tank. I had been quoted a price of $950 for the installation . After the installation the office called to ask how I wanted to pay I challenged this amount and ended up paying $850 instead. - I very much appreciated that Quinns were able and did install the hot water heater so quickly but felt I was taken advantage of financially."

"HARP was prompt, courteous and the two reps went right to work on our normal maintenance cleaning of our heating and hot water heater, under our contract for service. We take issue with the relentless up selling they attempted with my husband. Some of it would of had us pay a great deal of money, that was not necessary at this time. I appreciate having potential problems pointed out, but this was overkill. A written assessment of future potential repairs is fine, but these reps were too persistent!"

"I am so glad Griswold Plumbing added Heating and AC services! Jeremy is always a pleasure to talk to...especially when I'm trying to explain what's wrong and not doing a very good job of it. We woke up this morning to a very cold house...we did everything we were supposed to do to try to start the furnace ourselves but we couldn't get it started. It was Sunday and I didn't want to bother them BUT...It was cold. So...I called Griswold. Jeremy came out, after taking care of a no water call, mind you, and went down to assess the problem. He found what was wrong but couldn't fix it because he didn't have the right parts with him...like I said "old furnace". He came back a couple of days later with the parts and Demetri. They and went to the basement and within an hour made the repair! Who could ask for more???"
