"I had a great experience working with Bryan. He actually showed up when he said he would and had great communication which is hard to find with a contractor. I’m pretty picky and I was happy with his work. Total bathroom gut including subfloor. New everything. Nice tile work. It’s been 6 months and no problems thus far. "

"They remodeled my entire home (2 bed, 2 bath, kitchen, dining, living room). I needed a few room expansions, some new cabinets and appliances. The builders all seemed fairly experienced, and were very professional. It was a long project and I wasn't on site for most of the time, but the end product was exactly what I wanted."

"I had previously contracted with one of the big box companies to replace a hot water heater that had quit working in one of our rentals.  They failed to show up.  I canceled that contract and called Landon.  Because the person living in the apartment had no hot water, Landon said he  would make time to complete the job that day as he considered the situation an emergency.  We were very grateful for his caring nature.  Landon brought the new hot water heater and he and a helper installed the until that afternoon.  The space for removing the old unit was very tight.  The trim and dry wall had to be torn down in another apartment during a previous install.  We told Landon we understood that they would probably need to do the tear down and then repair the damage in this one as well.  Landon and his helper worked and struggled until they got the unit out with no damage.  There was hot water flowing when the tenant returned that evening.  That is about as good as it gets!"

"Steve showed up on time for estimate and gave his opinion on what he thought was necessary to repair. (Not as extensive as my husband and I thought.). He called a few weeks in advance so we could prepare our home and review the details. He areived on the date agreed on to begin work and worked entire day. He told us what he hoped to do each day. We had planned on a week, Steve was able to finish in three full days. He was very courteous, and repectful of our home, cleaning all along the way. I have had my ceiling repaired numerous times, i will sAy, without a doubt, this is the first time I am happy with the results. I would use Steve again without question and refer him to those wanting good work. <br />"

"I am very pleased with this company and their work. <br /> <br /> The project was executed to perfection. This company stayed with the project until it was completely finished. They declared before starting that they only do one project at a time and they do not start another project until the one they are doing is completely finished----complete. <br /> <br /> Randy and Jerry are perfectionist. The quality of their work was outstanding. All lines are straight and corners are square. They construct the building exactly to specs from the manufacture.....no shortcuts. <br /> <br /> Not only are they perfectionist, but these guys, you can trust. They are the real deal. <br /> <br /> I highly recommend JR Construction for any project you have in mind. They will begin building my new home hopefully this spring."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Nortonville, KY

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
