"Rusty and his team were AMAZING!! I recently had extensive foundation work done to my home leaving my front and back yard destroyed. I had no grass and a hay covered back yard to temporarily provide some relief with 4 dogs and muddy paws. I needed a quick fix and did not have time to wait for seed to grow with my dogs. I selected to get sod. I had approximately 4 other companies bid the job. I am one that likes to get a great deal, but I am also very particular. I must say Rusty really stood out. With my yard being disrupted from heavy machinery due to my foundation fix, the soil was obviously very rocky. I had multiple companies give me a bid for the sod, but no one addressed the condition of the soil. When I would question this, I never received an answer I felt confident with until Rusty bid this job. He made me feel secure. I know enough that you can't lay sod on unprepared soil or it won't bond the way it should. He took his time to prep my soil with a machine that fit through our new fence!! Most companies wanted to take a section out of my new fence to do this job, Rusty did not have to do this!! I was not okay with anyone pulling apart the new fence and other companies could not fit behind the house with their equipment. Rusty saved the day! He cleaned up all the hay in the backyard, prepped the soil, and laid the sod. It took approximately two days, but the wait was worth it! I am so happy I went with my gut instinct! I called multiple places and could have paid less with no assurance the sod would have ever grown at all because there was no concern about the soil they would lay the sod on! Rusty wasn't the cheapest, but he definitely wasn't the most expensive either! You get what you pay for, and I am pleased to have picked him!! He is fair with price for all the hard work and time he spent on my yard!! I am so happy with our decision to use Three Trails, LLC. The crew was kind, polite, respectful! Rusty even came back to assure me I was watering the sod correctly since this was all new to us! I appreciate his time and follow-up and will definitely continue to use him for our other lawn services such as seeding etc. in the future! Great Job Rusty and Three Trails! "We made an appointment with Madalein Odell last year to look over our landscaping and propose up grades.  Our landscaping was approximately 50 years old.  She asked us about our budget limits and our level of interest and experience in gardening activities necessary to maintain new plantings.  Madalein developed a recommendation for replacing our tired juniper bushes with new beds of bushes and perennials.  The recommendation including phasing in the work so the cost could be spread out.  Her estimate including a written description of proposed work, detailed costs, sketches, and printed materials describing the plants in the proposal.

Madalein's workers installed the work with her supervision.  Work was done professionally and punctually.  The plantings were beautiful  Madalein e-mailed us instructions for watering, fertilizing, etc.  She e-mailed us special instructions when the weather was challenging.  She provided us with photographs of our landscaping she had taken before the work, and we were shocked at how really bad it had looked.

When one of the bushes looked ragged due to winter kill, she replaced it.  The rest of the plants are flourishing - demonstrating that they were the right selections for our yard's sun and soil conditions.

"The most difficult part was the scheduling. Due to recent storms in the area, Paul was busy with storm clean-up jobs. Once a date was established, though, everything went great. Paul and 4 workers showed up and went to work. They finished quite quickly. My only complaint was due to lack of knowledge on my part. I presumed that after grindng the stump they would take away the wood chips. They did an excellent job of piling them up - but a huge mound of chips was left in my yard. I then hired them to clean that up and plant a tree at a later date. The 'B' in professionalism was only due to lack of updates as to when they would arrive. All other contact with this company and all of the workers encountered was a definate 'A'."

Lenny and Richard arrived just as promised, cut up the branch from a Bradford Pear tree and took down an additional Bradford Pear, that had been hit earlier and cleaned up and removed everything. Lenny if very nice and his response time is amazing! I will call him again this fall."
