Cost a little high but not outside range that AI says it would be. Cons: scheduling/dispatch - missed the window on day 1 and didn't say anything. I reached out and found they were behind for the day. Moved to next day. They were right on time at the top of the window"

"ARS's customer service is subpar. I called 6 times in one day to report an issue with a thermostat and each time I requested a manger to call me back to confirm that this repair will be covered by a ten year warrantee when I purchased the HVAC system just over 2 years ago. No manager called me back . when ARS finally called, their employee tried yet again to upsell me on some nonsense I was NOT interested in or needed. ARS changed my Apt from 2 -6, to 6-9 without notifying me. My AC is still down. I would never recommend this company to anyone. In fact I asked their tech to take a photo of my warrantee paperwork so that I would not end up arguing with them about coverage in the future. this is a horribly run business. I already reported ARS to the BBB. no chance they'll change their practices though. Their Techs are good, with lousy management. "

"The install young men, Joseph and Datrel were pleasant. Looked like they enjoyed their work. But, good grief, broke siding and given an invoice at close of job of a stranger. How do I know the correct unit was installed? If the office can't pay attention to detail, how do we trust the techs pay attention to detail during installation?"

"I called home sweet home about a broken furnace. Sammy live close by and came right out on a Sunday morning. He explained what was wrong with the furnace. He didn’t think I needed a new furnace just some parts. He was able to get the furnace started again And will call me about the parts in the morning. Sammy was most helpful and personable. He explained everything. I felt I was in good hands with him."

"Not Recommended for Thermostat Replacement — Unreasonable and Unfair $700 Charge I do not recommend Glenmont Air Conditioning & Heating for thermostat replacement work. I was charged $700 for a simple thermostat replacement, which I believe was unreasonably high and unfair. I was under the impression that the quoted estimate represented the maximum expected cost only if the technician had to perform additional wiring or complex installation work. If you want to install an Ecobee or any other type of thermostat, you can simply YouTube the installation, which provides step-by-step instructions on how to unwire, label, and rewire to the new thermostat. For my installation, I was under the impression that additional wiring might be needed, but it turned out to be a straightforward swap of the old thermostat with a new Ecobee unit, a process that took only about 15 minutes. Despite that, I was still charged the full amount. The Ecobee Premium thermostat itself costs around $250, meaning they charged nearly $500 just for labor, regardless of how simple or quick the installation is. To make matters worse, the installation only comes with a 30-day warranty, which hardly justifies such a high price. I tried to communicate and explain that this charge was unreasonably high and unfair, but they simply said, “It is what it is.” If you’re considering a thermostat installation, I strongly suggest hiring a professional through Thumbtack, where qualified experts can do the same job for under $150 with transparent pricing and good service. I expected fairness, honesty, and reasonable pricing from Glenmont, but unfortunately, that was not my experience."
