"It was a delight working with Province/Roland. He was prompt and very informative throughout the process. Far and away, the best home repair service I have worked with in the Leland area. I hope to hire them for more work on my home."

"We hired Pinnacle Construction for a complete bathroom remodel and are exceedingly pleased with the result. Jason was our construction foreman and was outstanding. All of the subcontractors along with Jason were polite, professional, efficient, and highly skilled. To all Northern transplantsâ finding it frustrating to deal with contractors who show up when they get around to it, seemingly oblivious to timelines and communication, and lack a sense of pride in workmanship; Pinnacle Construction and owner Bobby Hounsell offer all that is exceptional in home construction. They are clearly committed to meeting the needs and aspirations of their customers."

"Most people would rather go to a dentist than hire and deal with a contractor for work on their homes. Jim Hoctor of Allrestore Contractors is the exception to the rule. He actually made the experience a pleasure. He is easy to do business because; 1) good communications from start to finish on the project; 2) fair and honest pricing; 3) all work performed to the highest quality; 4) calm demeanor when something unexpected goes wrong; 5) speedy resolution of problems. I would recommend Jim and his company to anyone needing roof and window work in the Myrtle Beach area. I would hope that more contractors would adopt these core business principles."

"The bid submitted by On-Site Builders was competitive with 2 other bids received. What set On-Site Builders apart from its competitors was the service provided by principals Gary Stringer and James Cook. From the initial consultation and review of the renovation requirements, through the bidding, award, and execution, they proved to be highly communicative; flexible; innovative; and exceptionally competent. They kept the project on track and on-budget while owners were absent. Options to resolve hidden flaws in the original construction of the home were quickly evaluated and communicated for cost, schedule impact, and esthetics. Overall, very pleased with the performance of On-Site Builders. Not being on-site, we needed to be able to trust in the capabilities and judgement of Gary and James. And our faith in them was well justified."

"I work full time and just could not  be at the house enough to get repair work done.  Not only did they do general repairs to the house , they acted as my agent for a new roof and HVAC unit interviewing companys and conducting on site inspection.  Result:  a new roof and new HVAC system, with quality installation, at a reasonable price.  They Rock. <br />"

"<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />From my perspective Mike and his crew did an excellent job.  They were prompt and on time with very reasonable estimates and held to the agreement yet were accommodating with change orders we requested like the carpet and wiring tunnel.  They were on time with completion and put in the extra effort when it was needed. I would definitely recommend Mike and use him again for any other projects.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Jeff Zullo <br /> <br />COO Keller USA, Inc.  <br /> <br />Fort Mill, SC <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />"

"They took up the carpet throughout the condo and installed chestnut colored laminate flooring.  They also replaced the carpet on the stairs with pine treads and stained the treads to match the laminate flooring.  I really can't say enough about how good the job these guys did was.  From the day Ernie gave me the initial estimate (which matched the final price to the penny) to the day they finished the job took a little over a week.  They originally estimated the job itself would take 3 days, but were able to finish in 2.  These guys did everything they said they were going to do in the exact time frame they said they would do it, left the worksite cleaner than it was when they arrived - and their price easily beat those of the other contractors I got bids from.  I was originally concerned that the laminate flooring would be noisy, particularly because the sub-floor wasn't particularly level and had both high and low spots in it, as well as several squeaky spots.  A & A was able to level out the sub-floor and repair the squeaky spots in it before installing the new laminate. <br /> <br /> The floor looks fantastic and is now both quiet and level.  I would definitely use A & A again. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Ocean Isle Beach, NC

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
