Adding 6 lights and switches to my living room and a dining room light (the previous light was off center). After he finished installing my living room lights he addressed a concern of mine in my electrical panel which was that my dryer and AC wires were double tapped, causing them to overload the breaker anytime I ran both at the same time. "The underground wiring to our HOA Street lights was shorted out and kept tripping the breaker. We had another electrician check the wiring and could never find the problem. Mitch and his electrician helper found the problem within an hour and proceeded to correct it. Due to the age of the system and failure of installers to follow the electrical code some direct burial cable was shorted out. At first it looked like they would need to dig a new trench, install conduit and new wiring to street light poles estimated extra cost of $1500 over the two afternoon charge to that point. As they were preparing to leave for the day Mitch said, "I want to re-check this one line again". He carefully rechecked it and by cutting one of the light poles was able to find the short and make the system work. This extra care saved our HOA the $1500 extra trenching, conduit and new wire charge! Everything now works and has successfully worked for two nights, proving the fix is secure! I had to purchase a new kitchen faucet and called Michael to find out if it could be fixed or needed to be replaced. I took his recommendation to replace, and he saved me well over 1/2 the cost of a new COMMERCIAL grade fixture. He installed the next day and the whole experience was professional, courteous, and fast. Had it not been for him, I would have purchased a residential grade faucet that was plastic inside and would not have held up as long or as well. He told me if I had any problems with the new faucet, he would come out at no charge to me. "Dan from Expert Plumbing called me about 10:15 AM on the day of the new shower installation to get some additional information on what I needed done, and then again when he was about 10 minutes out. When he arrived, just shortly after 11 AM, he went over Expert's pricing (i.e., cost of the service call, hourly rate and minimum,etc.) and after looking very briefly at the plumbing, had me sign an invoice assuming two hours of labor (the worst case scenario in his mind). However, he explained that if he completed the work in an hour or less he would write up another invoice for one hour minimum labor charge. Dan then looked at the now exposed plumbing behind the bathtub. He saw no evidence of any leakage along the bathtub piping or on the floor during a careful inspection. However, he was unable to pressure test the piping and soldered connections because the water had been turned off and the shower-install contractor had already cut the copper piping to the now-demolished shower. He then focused on the corroded (due to hard water) nipple. It took some effort but with the correct internal pipe wrench he was able to remove it. I had purchased four nipples of differing lengths in anticipation of replacing the corroded nipple. Dan installed one of the new nipples so that a new tub spout with a threaded connection can be installed. Overall, the labor he performed took around 45 minutes, with most of that time expended on removal and replacement of the recalcitrant corroded nipple. In summary, Dan was courteous, personable, and professional. Before leaving he modified the invoice to one hour of labor, as he had discussed upon arrival. I would use Expert Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electrical again if needed."
