"I have mixed feelings about this company. We recently signed up with them to install ~50 new windows, spending a significant amount of money. I think they provide a good product for the most part, but it is too early for me to tell definitively. The windows seem to be well made, and they look nice. I am yet to determine whether or not they make a significant difference in efficiency. I expect them to, as we are replacing original windows that are about 24 years old. The installers did a good job. There are a few things I am not very happy with. First, several of our new windows now have much less glass, making them significantly smaller. These are transom type windows above our main windows. The glass part of our windows is less than half our older windows. I will try to post a picture showing the difference. This was very different than our expectations. Second, they were unable to install all of our windows because some of them did not fit. This was 3 months after waiting for our windows to be made. The ones that didn’t fit happened to be 2 of the 3 large windows right above our front door, front and center of our house... so very noticeable. I can understand that there was a mistake, which I can deal with. The frustrating part was their response. I expected them to make us a priority and remake these windows relatively quickly. Instead, they basically told us they have no idea when the windows will be finished but that it would probably be several more months. And finally - communication. Other than the sales rep we signed up with, the communication from this company has been very poor. It wasn’t communicated to us regarding the difference in window size referred to above. Further, our sales rep put us in touch with his supervisor to address our issues. He has been very unresponsive. After leaving 2 voicemails, I finally contacted our sales rep again, who said he would have his supervisor call us. When we finally spoke, the supervisor asked me to send pictures. I sent him pictures as soon as we hung up, followed up a week later, then followed up again another week later, and still haven’t heard a thing. If you can’t do anything to address these issues than so be it, but at least give me the courtesy of responding. And after a month, we still have no idea when our missing windows will be completed and installed, or anything about the status. After spending A LOT of money and being really patient, I would have expected more communication and much better service from this company."

"It was a warranty work taken care by a third party. They were definitely first rate. They had to be in and out of the house, almost continuously. They were very careful coming in and out. They kept me well informed as to what was going on and what they were finding. I recommended them to a friend of mine who was having some window work done."

"The quality of the products were exceptional as well as the workmanship of the installation. Susie was very professional in coming to the home and describing the products they offered. She took precise measurements, showed us the various options and pricing, and gave us a quote for the amount of manufacturing and labor that had to be done on the window wells. It took 3 weeks to manufacture the grates and install the rock liner. Some of the concerns I had about the stability of the galvanized window wells she answered before I made the commitment to proceed witht he work. The installer came today and finished the installation in just 2 hours. He did a great job in installing the product. We walked around to review the work and I honestly couldn't find an issue with any of the work or product. Overall, a good experience and we will proceed with having the other 2 window wells completed with the simulated rock liner next year. I can't say anything about the price as I have nothing to compare it too, but I felt it was very reasonable. They truely do hide ugly and we are very happy and worth what we paid. <br />"

"Fine. They did the installation about a half-day late because of weather, forgetting a ladder, and having to get more film than expected. They finished quickly and with no problems. Left the two rooms as clean or cleaner than when they arrived."

"I would recommend this company to anyone, and I will call them again in the future. The first time I used this company, I needed to have drywall in my downstairs ceiling replaced due to a flood in my upstairs bathroom. Most recently, I needed to have the doors in front of my washer and dryer removed, re-attached, and have a water valve replaced, to have a new washing machine installed. I really appreciate that they were able to accommodate me when I needed to reschedule. I worked with Adan most recently, and he was very professional, efficient, answered all of my questions, and kept me informed the entire time. He did a great job, and I am very pleased with the results!"

"We needed to replace our windows with more energy efficient ones and so one of our windows wouldn't leek.  The installers showed up on time and were finished with the job sooner than expected.  They were very professional and answered the questions that I had.  Removing windows from a home is messy but they were great about cleaning up after themselves inside and outside of my home.  After all the new windows were installed, they went around my house with a vacuum and vacuumed underneath all of my windows."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Ogden, UT

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
