"Scott came out to our house a couple of times to dial in exactly what we wanted. We went with Watry because they were the only certified James Hardie certified installer in the area.   Our house is barn style house and over 5000 square feet with some unique angles, so we wanted the best.  We signed the contract, gave him the deposit and Scott ordered the material.  When the materials arrived they came out and ripped off the existing siding and gutters and wrapped the house in insulation.  We ran into some weather problems which caused some delays, but not too bad.  He had a great crew come out and put up the new siding.  You could really tell they knew what they were doing.   With the weather delays the entire project took about a month, a little longer than planned, but they kept us informed every step.  Scott and his team do a great job."

"Not a negative thing we can say about Kirch Improvements. This was our first time ever hiring a contractor and making this big of a financial investment so needless to say we were a bit apprehensive going into it. But all we had to do was tell them what we were looking for and they did all the rest of the work. Jaclyn was always prompt in responding to our questions. John and his crew were very professional. Everything started on time and they even worked through the rain (even when we didn’t expect them to) to ensure the build didn’t have to be delayed. "This remodel was exceptional! First of all, John Richart answered my request in about a day and made an appointment to review the site for a quote within 3 days. We signed the contract in November and they started work on January 3, 2022, as estimated. Although the price was very important and they were very competitive (obtained 3 quotes), I can't express my relief that they were able to respond quickly and keep to schedule. Daily communications on what the goals for the day were, what was next, etc., were very much appreciated and added a level of professionalism I enjoyed. The final product is amazing! The circa 1950's kitchen and bath in my 1929 bungalow is now both beautifully updated and tastefully respectful of all the fine details of craftsmanship from the original construction. The project came in under the original budget I prepared and includes details and features they suggested, making it more elegant and functional than I had originally imagined. Details are always the most important to me and I am very pleased with all of the trim details and most importantly the precise tile work in the tub/shower and the kitchen and pantry backsplashes. They refinished the doors including adding new retro hardware and cleaning/polishing the hinges at very little cost. It's amazing what that detail adds to the rooms! The added bonus is this family crew of dad and sons obviously enjoy working together and was good company in my home. They worked efficiently, were pleasant in their language and demeanor, cleaned up the site well, and finished the project in approximately 3 weeks. We are preparing for another smaller project this spring."

"We got a quote from another company (Renovations Group Inc.) and JD Griffiths were $15,000 cheaper. They got to work right away and stayed on schedule till the end. The 2 carpenters that did all the building were super nice, and pleasant to deal with. This does not mean everything went perfect, but anything that was wrong was fixed immediately and with out complaint. They had forgotten to put the soffit vents in, but when asked about it, one of the carpenters came over on a Saturday to put them in. We ended up grilling out with him and his daughter. The garage door also was installed with the wrong hardware. It was supposed to be magnetic, but it was screwed in. The next week they replaced the door. We understand on a big project things are missed and mistakes are made. It is the service on how these problems are fixed that makes a great contractor. The service was top notch and much appreciated. We will hire them to rebuild our shed next."

"We wanted a complete kitchen remodel along with creating an open concept family /kitchen/dining room. After meeting with a few local contractors we chose Roger and Kitchen Krafters. This was a very large project which encompassed our entire main floor. He took the time needed to meet with us over the course of several months to plan our project. He also spent time educating us on the best ways to maximize our dollars spent for the maximum impact towards our vision and to stay close to our budget. He would give great options where monies may be better spent or where he thought we wouldn't want to pass up or cut corners on certain areas, revisiting this with us along the continuum of the project. Ultimately he came up with the perfect layout to accommodate the open space we wanted along with a large island, plenty of cabinets, and functional space. He did all of this in a relatively small space, but made it feel large yet cozy. Roger created more space for us in our dining room by bumping out a wall. He also removed an existing wall and part of another wall to open up our space. This in turn created rerouting some electrical and venting, which all worked out very well. We bought our own flooring, (bamboo which we love) and his crew installed it doing a marvelous job. In the end Roger talked us into doing the bamboo on the entire main floor, and we couldn't be happier with it! Needless to say with all of this renovation we were limited to our upstairs and basement. When we were home while his crews were working they were respectful and efficient. We are now able to entertain at our large island, enjoy the family room space, and work in our kitchen without being on top of one another. His work is immaculate! He installs all the cabinets himself, and they are gorgeous and functional. The cabinets truly are the crown jewel of the project! Roger also installed a fantastic hood vent for us. His tile worker beautifully installed our subway tile, and we couldn't imagine our kitchen without it- a true WOW factor. It is our back splash and climbs the wall behind our hood. Getting the floor boards ordered and installed was a headache which we hadn't anticipated, but that also turned out wonderfully despite the extra work and price tag. There were a few bumps along the way as there are with any project, but the end result is truly magnificent! Lighting was a another huge project. We had our dining room chandelier moved, had under mount cabinet lighting installed, new dimmers, recessed lighting throughout the kitchen, hallway, and some in family room, and pendants added over the island. Just deciding which lights to use is exciting and fun, and they are all amazing! Lighting changed the look of the entire space. We would gladly and enthusiastically hire Roger again and we highly recommend Roger and his crews for your next job."
