"really, sub-par work. The vacuum smelled dusty, I had to follow the guy around to be sure he did all the vents after he told me he had done 2 downstairs and they were both full of dirt in the box part before it goes back to the vent. Overall, I wish I'd gone with a more expensive company that I found on my own. This has made me mistrustful of Angie's list as well. Disappointing."

"Todd, is the best in the city!! He found the problem quickly. The other mold person said it was coming from my windows and porch. I called Todd and he looked around and said it’s not your window’s and he showed me why he thought this and I knew he was right. he’s a really honest person. He reasonable and he’s not going to scare you so you can pay an outrageous price for mold remediation.. he quickly found the problem and told me how to address it. He really knows his stuff..he’s an expert in his field. I couldn’t say enough how grateful I was to have him do my mold remediation. He’s going to be the only person I would use for mold remediation.."

"He was great, he went out to the property the next day and took care of the issue. <br>He explained in detail what his product worked and what he needed to do. <br>He called after he was done and stated that he left the windows open so that we knew to go back and close up the house. <br>I would use him in the future and send him other clients when needed."

"I can't say enough good things about OxyDry. Such a hard working crew. Have just loved working with this team. They are excellent. We've used them a number of occasions and each time had a great experience. The first time, we had a minor bathroom flood that soaked into two walls and carpet. The second time, we had a shower grow toxic mold behind the tiles and needed restoration.  Both times, the team has been fast in getting to our home and helping us.  They are easy to contact too. My wife and I were hard customers because we asked a ton of questions in both person and by phone. And I do mean TONS of questions! The team is professional and easy to talk with. We were even able to text them questions throughout the day. They are very knowledgeable and give us helpful tips. They know a lot of the local handymen too and know who to call for repairs outside their scope. They were also really helpful with our insurance company and made sure we got coverage for all the necessary repairs.  What impressed me this last time was how thorough they were in cleaning our house. When we had the mold removed from our house, four of them came over with hepa vacs, mops, and vacuum cleaners. They scrubbed every wall, surface, and item in our house to ensure all the mold spores were dealt with.  Our house has never been so clean. Just top notch. Thanks guys! <br>"

"The report was very professional and detailed. The response was fast. The price was expensive but due to the detail, understandable. I wouldn't hire again due to multiple requests for a completed report and estimate for the mold remediation and just getting robotic replies that didn't answer my questions."

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Oklahoma City, OK

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
