"had original rotted T1-11 siding as sheer wall replaced with plywood sheer wall, hardy blueskin, and hardie panel siding. also had vinyl replacement windows and sliding door taken out and milgard ultra fiberglass installed instead. all work performed to high quality standard. good flexibility for our participation in the process. very focused on customer satisfaction. would definitely recommend to others who know what they want from their window/door/siding contractor."

"Was referred to this company by my friend Glen when we were remodeling our house, so I decided to get windows and shutters from WDG- Everything's been great! They did a great job with designing and installing as I needed everything to be custom.
Step 1- they sent a designer for the consultation who made recommendations and took measurements. It's good that they send a designer and not just any joe shmoe because he was actually very helpful in giving us suggestions and we ended up changing some things around because of his recommendations. 
Step 2- bid was sent to us, we signed the contract and sent out deposit. 
Step 3- our windows were made, they called us and set up installation and everything turned out great. 
After we were satisfied with our windows, we decided to get shutters from them as  well, and I am very satisfied. Since we were returning customers they even gave us a better price.

"These guys are great. They are super friendly and honest, and their prices are extremely fair. We hired them to rebuild a section of our fence which had fallen over due to rot. "Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. "We live in a very old house with a lot of charm and a long list of things in need of repair. When hunting for a local contractor, we found S&S construction on Angie's List and based on the positive comments left by previous clients, we decided to give Shaun a call. We met Shaun at one of his former job sites, a home which he remodeled entirely. The site was really impressive. Both his work and our discussion left us with confidence that this was the right group to work with. We were looking for someone who was highly knowledgeable, experienced, efficient, strong attention to detail, honest and most importantly-good natured. Shaun met all of these requirements and more. Shaun and the crew have completed three separate projects over the course of the past 4 months and we couldn't be happier with the results. Our first job was to remodel our detached one car garage that was in really bad shape. Working with Shaun, we realized our goal of transforming it into an awesome workspace. Shaun and crew removed and replaced the roof, installed new windows, installed new lighting, dry walled and repainted the interior and installed an automatic garage door. After the second successful job of deck work and repaired, we hired S&S to complete the remodeling of our dining area. This included raising the ceiling height, gaining some additional square footage by removing a recessed area, new lighting, removal of built in shelving, and adding a soffit for artwork. The timing of Shaun's availability coincided with a long planned vacation to Asia, but as we had come to know and trust Shaun from the previous two jobs, we elected to have the work performed while we were away. As we have come to expect, the project went off without a hitch. Shaun made special arrangements to ensure our home was secure while away. We kept in contact by phone daily, and were happy to receive e-mail updates with photos of the job at each stage to keep us posted on progress.
