"Outstanding service. Costco subs the work out to an installation firm, but they're so image-conscious that we were confident that Costco's research of the installers was more thorough than any research we would have done on our own. Installers were prompt, clean, efficient, and courteous. Windows look and function beautifully. Price was far and away the lowest of three bids, and no negotiation required. Highly recommend using Costco."

"The whole project was terrific! Misha in customer service/scheduling is a true asset to this company. She stayed in constant communication with me to ensure I was knowledgeable about pricing and product prior to installation. I have old aluminum window frames and was anxious about how the new screen frames would match. She suggested we exchange photos of my frames to their product to determine the appropriate color. I chose the gray, which turned out perfect!! Rich, the Technician, was dedicated, prompt and professional. He constructed the screens in his mobile trailer and installed them in no time! Great company, will use them again!"

"Great! The shed was easy to order and we talked through some options and my requirements over the phone. The installer was terrific. He was nice, prompt, and a great guy. Not much more to say other than at 10am there was nothing in my back yard and by that afternoon that was a new shed installed and ready to be filled with stuff. Quality and build seem pretty good and I am looking forward to using it for many, many years. <br />"

"We highly recommend Window-ology. We had several companies come out to give us options and estimates. Window-ology really listened to what we wanted and came up with an excellent solution. The price was competitive, and we would rate as excellent value. Installation went quickly and was done well. All in all, if you are looking for a company that has the experience and customer service skills to meet your needs, we highly recommend Window-ology."

"We had McLendon Home Services do the install (which the subcontracted to Emerald City Energy) and all went well. Water damage was found while removing our old windows which they notified me of, and gave some advice on how to handle the resolution of the problem. They were very professional, and I'd absolutely go with them again."

"We had been searching for someone to repair the roof of our house for long period of time but no success. Most of the roofing contractors that we contacted did not want to repair the roof, but wanted to completely replace it. Some of the contractors would make an appointment and would not show up for the appointment and would not call. From our initial call with Northwest Tile, the experience was AWESOME! The owner, Marty, showed up on time for the initial appointment and was extremely professional. His team members, Chris and Jeremy, showed up on time for the work and were outstanding. The work was done in a professional manner and was excellent. I was so impressed that I asked the co-owner Stacy for business cards to take to work and share them with others. Two years later, they came out again for some warranty work and another team member Nathan came as part of the team and he was great also. My dealing with Northwest has been great and I would highly recommend them to anyone. It has taken me a long time to get this review into the system, but I wanted to give credit where it is due. <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Olympia, WA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
