I did learn from reviewing three estimates that two questions must be clearly answered: 1. what brand of screen? (cheap brand or Phifer); 2. how is screen installed? (rolled or by panels). There are significant price differences, but homeowner preference should dictate which options are best for their needs. Also, if you have screen doors that are in bad shape, make sure you are clear on whether they are installing new doors & hardware or simply replacing hardware components, which of course is a homeowner preference. The installation crew was timely, professional, and worked continuously through the July summer heat & humidity only taking a deserved lunch break. They even took time to physically check the entire job top to bottom to ensure all details of the installation were completed properly. I also checked the credentials of Southern Screen with the State of Florida and all was good, which was a selection factor along with their local longevity in the business.
