"I recently had changed house insurance companies and provided them with my wind mitigation report I had done when we purchased our home 2 years ago. The new company required a “4 point” report as well which I had not needed previously. Fast forward to “inspection” companies. I made an appointment with Central Inspections Agency in Sorrento, Fl to perform the 4 point inspection. Right from the first phone call, to receiving the email showing the scheduled appointment info I knew I found a very professional company. Dale showed up on time for the inspection and was very courteous, neat and informative. He explained the procedure and completed the task. He explained I will receive the completed 4 point report via email later that evening and he will send a copy to my insurance provider. A few days later my insurance agent contacted me with regard to my original wind mitigation report stating he feels like it was in error based on the re-roof date by the prior owners and suggested we have the inspection company return to reinspect if the nailing code was brought up to date when the roof was replaced. So Dale from Central Inspections Agency returned to our home and performed a new wind mitigation report which clearly showed, in fact it was updated to code. Bottom line, we are extremely happy with our new insurance agency (Peter McCumber in Leesburg, Fl) for noticing that the updated code should have been in the report 2 years prior as well as Dale from Central Inspections Agency actually performing the inspection correctly and has now saved us hundreds of dollars in insurance costs. So if your in need of insurance or any type of home inspections we highly recommend both of these companies for their prompt and professional efforts in doing the right thing for us and showing that having a “correct” inspection can save lots of money in premiums! "Timely? Yes Professional? Yes Reasonably priced? Yes there is nothing negative to say, they wiped up my floor (which was not necessary, they left it cleaner than when they came in). I thought I needed a new roller, he pulled it out showed it to me, and said I did not need one, there was wood stuck in the track. Took out slider and permanent door, cleaned the track, replaced doors, and replaced my lock/handle as well. I mistakenly wrote the check out for $5.00 more, and he pointed out that I overpaid immediately. I told him to keep it, very much worth it for his honesty and ethics. He was also teaching a new recruit, and he took the time to explain everything to him. I literally cannot think of a single thing they might have done wrong. Excellent job. I dont want to see him again soon, :-) but if my other doors get stuck, he will be my go to! 100% recommend."

"The original installation was fine and they were clean and made sure the shutters were clean and installed properly. The original sale man said we could count on them for any issues, free repairs for the lifetime of the shutters. I had my windows replaced in the bedrooms and asked the window company how it would effect the shutters and they said the windows in the master bedroom would need a 1 inch extension around the shutters. They gave me the wrong information. I then called the shutter company to come an uninstall the shutters so the new windows could be installed and gave them the information about the 1 inch extension. They did this and the charge was $275, I also again told the man about the necessary extension. When I had them come back the installer was not prepared to make the necessary corrections to the shutters, he did not have a 1 inch extension, he said no one had told him. He could not install the master bedroom shutters and said if I was to have an extension on these shutters it would not be good, I should have all new shutters made. He installed the other bedroom shutter and left the shutter dirty with hand prints and caulking all over the shutters, in one word a mess. After discussion with the office they took back the master bedroom shutters to see if there was anything they could do. They decided to add an extension in the back and extended the shutter as we had originally thought would happen, additional $220. The original unprepared installer caused a lot of drama that was unnecessary. The office was not much better. I am so disappointed in this company."
