"We had some bad luck recently with our home that has 2 air conditioner units. They both needed replacing just 1 1/2 months apart. After researching, we selected AM Aire as we found Andrew to be the most honest AC Technician!! He replaced our first unit and even though we had to wait for a part for 5 days in Florida heat for Andrew to replace our 2nd unit , we selected him again even though another company could have installed a new one sooner. "Forget the rest, go with the BEST, TOM @ MODERN AIR. Tom, the owner of Modern Air, contacted me immediately after I put in a request with HomeAdvisor. I explained my problem to him & he suggested that we meet the next day at 11 AM. At EXACTLY 11 AM, he arrived (was shocked). He immediately went to work diagnosing my concerns. My main A/C unit was less than 2 years old, but my air handler was 10 years old (probably on its last legs, my opinion). I could not get the temperature below 80 degrees. He found that the freon was at 1/3 the recommended level. He recommended a coil cleaning before doing a leak test. I gave him the go ahead & he did a GR8 job, with a professional cleaning solution & tools. I had done a 'do-it-yourself' coil cleaning a couple of months ago & was astonished at the amount of 'crap' that came off the coils. I won't do that myself again. He then did a full leak test with 'state of the art' equipment on the main unit & handler & could only find a potentially small leak in the air handler coil. As he felt that the leak was VERY small, he suggested (& I agreed to) infusing a leak sealer/dye chaser into the system. He felt that this would hopefully resolve the issue & if not, at least identify where the leak would be located. AT NO TIME DURING HIS SERVICE CALL, DID HE TRY TO SELL/UPGRADE me on a new air handler or anything else for that matter (VERY big surprise). He also corrected some wiring issues with the water evacuation pump & reprogrammed the thermostat, both for FREE (I had personally done a poor job installing a new evacuation pump last year). He proceeded to replenish the Freon to the correct levels. He then thoroughly cleaned up any mess that was created during his coil cleaning & other work done. We sat down to review exactly what he had done & the related the material & labor cost of the service call. I was blown away, not only by his professionalism & conscientious service, but also the reasonable cost. Unlike many other service persons that I have dealt with in the past, he definitely wasn't trying to rush the job to get to his next appointment or upsell me on replacing something that wasn't needed. Tom really knows the "long term future" value of customer service & professionalism. BOTTOM LINE, it has been 10 days since his service call & I am sitting in my den with a sweater on, its 92 degrees outside & my wife is talking to me again. Would I call him again for annual maintenance or service? Would I have him replace the air handler when the time came? WITHOUT HESITATION!!!, he is in my phone's speed dial. Damon R. in Lar"

"First things first, Oscar is absolutely amazing. He is VERY professional and trustworthy. I can’t recommend him enough. He was able to do an emergency fix for a door that the fire department broke during a 911 call for my elderly aunt who was living alone. I am in Maryland and was able to fly down for just a day and Oscar was very accommodating even during Thanksgiving week. Oscar was able to secure the house until he could purchase a the correct door and supplies. I had to fly back to Maryland but Oscar took care of the door replacement leaving her house safe and secure within just a few short days!"

"A very nice person came and gave me a reasonable estimate for repairing the damage that World Class Heating and Air conditioning did when they installed new ducts 3 years ago that were now blowing insulation out of the ducts they had replaced. Fairway not only did the work only 1 day late but took pictures of the new repair work as I am disabled and could not get up to see what was done."

"This was the best experience I have ever had with anything be doing work on my home. He said he would be here at 8:00 am and he was here at 8:00am. He pressure washed my entire house, pulled all the tiny vine pieces out of my soffits, filled all the cracks and caulked everything, sealed my entire home, painted my gutters,soffits, whole house and trim. Removed and replaced all of my exterior lighting and house numbers as well as my down spouts... I have 3 dogs and he was so careful to make sure they were safe and didn’t get out. He finished earlier Than I expected. He truly cares about you and your expectations and my house looks like a brand new home... I could go on and on with praise.
