"Oh I am so happy, Cody came within 3 hours and looked over everything and explained to my son and I what had to be done. He put the door up so we could get our cars out. The man was so Kind and Understanding . He wanted to come back the nest day on Saturday but we had other arrangements. "In the last 15 years at this location I have had garage door maintenance 3 times and I have found Monerey Shop to be the best and most reasonable.   I called and they came first thing next morning. Problem was a broken gear in my double overhead garage door. They resolved that and I had them replace my outside remote control which required programming.  They suggested they should check all the handsfree controls in all of my cars and did so and suggested future things I should look for in maintaining my 15 year old doors.  I had them out a few years ago to replace a broken spring where the good service was the same.  They work on a service fee plus hourly rate plus parts.  They watch the clock to be sure to complete in the least amount of time their parts are reasonable (no large markup) and I have found them to be  inexpensive when compared to other local companies.  I will have them back for any additional maintenance I may need."

"The service technician did a very efficient job of analyzing the problem and replacing the defective opener. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was very happy and satisfied with the service from Julian and Diamond Garage doors."

"It turned into a huge waste of time. The tech took the samples and submitted them to the lab, which apparently "lost" them, which I didn't find out about until after the expected time to receive the report had past, thus ruining the timeline that had been put together to deal with the situation (this was for a home that was about to list for sale, and I needed to know asap whether it could list or needed to be held back for remediation). To their credit, they ended up not charging me for the sample-taking (as I did not receive any results), and they were not able to revisit the property on a schedule that was quick enough to suit my needs. The other frustrating part was that they made very dire-sounding comments about the property, which were totally unfounded. The problem at the property was trivial (this was verified by subsequent testing), and no actual on-going problem existed and there was no need for destructive inspection or major renovation. And yet the tech had essentially said, "well, we can demo the bathroom", i.e. suggesting that spending $3k-5k was what I should do, and would need to do. It felt like it was an attempt to coerce me into a major expense unnecessarily."
