He was able to get the ice maker running without replacing any parts. He even offered some cost saving options if it were to happen again. After diagnosing my refrigerator (French Door w/ a Door Alarm that would not turn off) and order parts for the repair, the fridge still does not work. I paid for the service call ($75), parts ($56), and labor ($35) - totaling approximately $167. I was informed that the refrigerator is unrepairable. Unfortunately, I do not know what the protocol is in the service industry when you are unable to fix a problem, and you still charge the full amount. I would assume some kind of discount should be provided."
