"I called and left a message on Sunday about needing someone Monday. They called me back Mon morning and came in the afternoon quoting a visit price of $60 and would quote further work after examination. The plumber came at the beginning of the estimated time period and gave us a quote to install the faucet we had bought and replace both valves (one of which had stopped working) of $350 total. The work was accomplished quickly and professionally."

"Gleanoak plumbing was very professional and responded to the call and promptly showed up at the appointed time as a service call to clean out a clogged kitchen sink. We agreed upon the price of $275, which is steep, but this needed to be done and he seemed reputable - indeed he was both professional and prompt.
During the job, Gleanoak Plumbing was asked to look at the upstairs sink that I had shut off the hot water as there was a slow drip underneath the sink. He called me and stated that the nut was cracked and that was why it was dripping. If he wanted me to take care of it, he could, but the total cost of the job would sky-rocket to $700. This is price-gouging at it's finest. He was at our home for a total of 1h30 and charged a heckuva lot for a routine job.
Would NOT recommend this plumber on the basis of price-gouging.

"The information provided on the first phone call was detailed on the process of re-glazing and the prices. Work started promptly and was finished in about 3 1/2 hours. The bathtub looks new again. The man who did the work was very professional. I did have to call them due to some sharp points on the non-slip surface, however, they came back out in a couple of days to buff out the points and re-apply a coat to the bottom of the tub. Now it's perfect! THANKS!"

"First off, John is amazing.  He'd been out to my house a year before to help with this bathtub.
This time, after calling him, he showed up within an hour.  He thought the problem might be the tub drain and suggested replacing it - a simple and non-invasive repair.  He admitted it might be something harder, such as the tub trap, but that would involve cutting a hole in the downstairs ceiling to reach the pipes.  He wanted to avoid that, and so I agreed to start with replacing the accessible drain components.  He sent one of his guys out the next night, working around my family's crazy work schedule.  The drain was replaced and tested, but later that night it started leaking again.  I called John and he apologized and committed to coming back out the next night, saying he would likely have to cut into the ceiling for the repair.
True to his word, he came right out the next night.  He cut two small holes in the ceiling, quickly identified the problem, and fixed the pipes.  We talked about repairing the ceiling, and since I prefer to do that kind of work myself, he walked me through EXACTLY what type of materials I need and EXACTLY how to do the repair.  I plan on getting that done this weekend.
I cannot sing this man's praises enough.  I've never worked with any repair person / contractor who is so nice, understanding, and communicative about the work.  I would recommend this company to anyone who needs plumbing work.  I keep his card handy just in case something comes up, because I know he will respond promptly and offer high quality service.  Thanks again John!!

"Todd was extremely responsive and called to schedule an in-home estimate the moment I clicked "request a quote" on the Angie's List site. He provided an estimate for both quartz and granite. I then went to their showroom to choose the quartz I wanted (and the sink and faucet) and to schedule the measuring. The laser measuring of my kitchen was very cool. Then the installation was scheduled--counters, sink, and faucet--and it all went very smoothly--even with a run to Home Depot by the plumber for a fitting. "I initially called Shaffer Plumbing and a Plumber came out to assess the situation. We were told that our cold water line was leaking and our old water heater needed to be replaced. The Plumber 1st repaired the leak and replaced valve. As we supplied the water heater the Plumber returned a few days later, installed the new water heater, cleaned up beautifully and removed the old water at no additional charge!!"

"I would like to say this is one of the best companies I have worked with.  From our first visit to their showroom we found exactly the granite that we were hoping for and the next day called them to discuss how to begin the process.  I provided them with some dimensions and the estimate they gave me was right on target with what our price turned out to be.  We put down a deposit and they scheduled for the measurements to be made.  I received a call the night before letting me know they'd be out and the guy who came out for the countertops themselves was punctual, friendly and professional.  The only thing he couldn't do was measure for our cooktop which we hadn't picked up yet. 
I was able to take the cooktop to their shop and they got all of the measurements they needed and right from the install guide.  I was very impressed that everything was perfect since the cooktop also included a custom downdraft so we weren't talking about a perfect square or rectangle here.  The installers were extremely good, I felt really bad for them, because the counters they removed from our house were covered with tile and screwed down from the top, it was an ordeal but they were awesome and removed everything.
Same thing for our full height backsplash as well, they came out and made templates so that everything fit together perfectly.  Four days later, the same installers were back and we had everything in (a much easier job for them this time) 
I really appreciate the experience I had with these guys, all e-mails and phone calls were answered immediately and the quality is absolutely amazing.  They were a real pleasure to work with and really seemed to care."
