"My roof issues stem from solar panel installation. The installers damaged several shingles, including roof vent shingles, and upon my complaint did an awful job trying to patch it. I called American Home Contractors for a survey of the damage, and they sent out Isiah, who did a phenomenal job. He wrote up a very excellent report detail all of the damage and repairs needed to bring my roof back to its original condition. He supplied me with clear pictures of everything, and took time to explain everything to me so that I could understand the estimate. I feel much better now knowing exactly what damage was done to my roof, and that I can rely on Isiah and American Home Contractors to restore my roof back to its original condition. "Let me start by saying we had an absolutely first rate experience with E&F Masonry and recommend them without reservation. Excellent pricing, work done quickly and on time, excellent workmanship and complete clean up when they were done. It was like they were never here except for the repairs they made. The backstory is that our house façade and our very tall chimney had “cultured” (concrete simulated) stone attached when we built the house 22 years ago. The masons however didn’t put mortar between the stones and we fought with the builder for years to have it rectified but we lost. The stones started to fall off five years ago (one hit me on the head when I closed the front door, 8 stiches required). So, we decided before we retired to have the mortar installed as it should have been originally. E&F did an outstanding job and their pricing was better than others we spoke too. However, we primarily chose them due to their high ratings from other customers. They also redid our flagstone front stoop which is now beautiful. It was a laborious process requiring extensive scaffolding and working in cold winds and damp weather. They also discovered the chimney mortar cap wasn’t done correctly and completely fixed that for no extra charge. The foreman I worked was excellent and explained what was going on. We are very, very happy with the work done. It is nice to have quality work done by professionals who care."

"The provider was called regarding a gutter issue. When the provider arrived, he checked the roof and told us that it needed repair or replacement. He gave us estimates for both. Based on the estimates, we decided to have the roof replaced and at the same time, the gutters would be repaired. The roof looks good, however, we have not had any heavy rain since that time to confirm the gutters are fixed. We put down a 1/3 deposit on the roof and have not received a copy of their signed contract nor the 50 Year Transferable Warranty, which was the selling point of having the new roof put on. The morning the workman showed up to replace the roof, they asked my husband for more money up front. He said no, that in compliance with the contract, they would get the balance after the roof was replaced - that is what we did. They have been paid in full. We have tried to reach Jack Walker, the owner of Home Pro Roofing & Remodeling, since the roof was replaced and we have been unable to reach him via his office and cell phone numbers."

The project entailed wallpaper removal from 2.5 bathrooms and kitchen, repainting those rooms; installing a tile backsplash and vinyl tile floor in the kitchen; replacing the kitchen countertop; repairing a cabinet; repairing drywall and painting the ceiling in the master bedroom. The owner came out to do the estimate himself. He was accommodating when I wanted to expand the scope of the initial project and came out a second time to give me an updated estimate. He was easy to reach via cell or email. The estimate was more than fair. His crew completed the job in three days. The crew was polite, professional, and did a good job cleaning up at the end of each work day. I highly recommend this company and would use them again."
