"The company was fast, responsive, professional and courteous. They were able to come out sooner then promised and did an excellent job start to finish. They showed me photos and videos of the work and explained each step along the way. Highly recommend. "

"Thank you so much for a professional and efficient job! We had a flood in our basement and needed to have our carpet cleaned. Eco Pro cleaned the back of the carpet before it was put back in place. After the carpet was re-installed, they came back to do a complete cleaning of the entire basement carpeting. We put this carpeting in pretty recently, and Eco Pro saved us from needing to replace it. The carpet looks amazing and we are so happy to finally have our basement back!"

Small jobs welcome

"Outstanding service! I could not understand why my downstairs closet was extremely cold upon entry. During my first conversation with Phillip, he conveyed concern and dedication regarding identification and remediation of the unusually cold air. During initial visit, Phillip noted portions of closet were approximately 15 degrees colder than adjoining rooms. After conducting internal and external inspections of the nearby areas, he identified potential source of cold air. A couple days later with outside temperatures in the 20s, Phillip exhaustively sealed external areas of concern. A few days later, he came again to determine temperature differential within the closet. It was now much more comfortable with temperature only a few degrees below neighboring rooms! Throughout the entire process, Phillip was very friendly and knowledgeable."

FAQs for mold & toxic material test projects in Pasadena, MD

Some companies offer a no‑cost phone or video consultation that screens for red flags. If the discussion points to a real issue, the pro will recommend a paid on‑site inspection. The complimentary call clarifies whether you need full testing, but it isn’t a substitute for samples, lab work, or a written report. Always confirm what the free service covers before you schedule.

A standard inspection, which includes basic air and surface samples, takes an average of two hours. If the pro needs to probe hidden spaces, such as wall cavities or ductwork, plan on up to six hours. Extra time allows the inspector to reach tight areas, collect additional samples, and document findings. Lab analysis is a separate process and often adds several business days to the overall timeframe before you receive the full report.

Mold thrives where moisture lingers and air flow is poor. Common hotspots include bathroom walls, kitchen backsplashes, window sills, HVAC vents, fireplaces, crawl spaces, and enclosed attics. Check these areas regularly—especially after leaks or high‑humidity weather—to catch growth early and avoid costly repairs.

Unchecked mold can knock 20% to 37% off a home’s market value because buyers worry about hidden damage and health risks. Even after remediation, visible staining or a history of major moisture issues can still lower offers and prolong the time on the market. Addressing mold quickly protects both your property’s structural integrity and its resale appeal.
