"It started with trying to fix leaks in the kitchen sink, but the scope expanded since they found a pipe broken near the outer wall. They did arrive on time, but the window for the appointment was 3 hours (3pm to 6 pm). I had to call a few times to get feedback on when they would arrive. The quality of the job seems to be very good. However, they are pricey. If the pricing was better, I would hire them again for sure."

"It was ok. I spoke to the guy on the phone before going in a few days later. In person he tried to charge me $60 more for the diagnostic than what he quoted on the phone. He dropped to the quoted price once I mentioned it."

"I came home from a month-long trip to find a notice on my front door that the water had been shut off. The inlet plumbing to the house had frozen and leaked while I was away. I called our regular plumber, but couldn't reach him. I started to call plumbers in the book and found this company. The were backed up on the day I called, but could come the next day. They came within the time frame provided (2-5pm) and quickly diagnosed the problem. A part was needed, so the plumber went into town to get it and was back within an hour with the right part which he installed in a few minutes. With the water back on, he inspected all of the faucets and fixtures to make sure there weren't any other leaks. The plumber was very knowledgable and quick. A pleasure to work with. I'll probably use them in the future for other plumbing work I have. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Pearblossom, CA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
