"I cannot say enough wonderful things about Flash Painters. They arrived when they were supposed to, finished the job when t hey said they would, cleaned up when they were done and charged a fair price for the work. When working on the inside of my house, they were meticulous in covering things so no paint got on furniture and when finished, went through the house and made sure I was satisfied with the job in every room. On the outside of the house, they did everything necessary to make the house look good, pounding in nails, filling woodpecker holes, and caulking where needed. They even came in and made sure all my windows opened and put screens in. I later hired Flash again to stain my deck and paint a ceiling. "Everything went great! Needed to find a local plumber in an emergency on a Saturday and Chris was able to be there within 30 minutes of talking to him. He observed the job and communicated what would need to be done and fixed/replaced everything that needed to be. "On Monday morning we woke up with no heat.  At 8:15 AM I called Cuddy Brothers and spoke with Chris. He said they could come out in the afternoon, and asked that I text him the address.  He also said he might be able to get there sooner, and that he would let me know within the hour.  He called back about 45 minutes later to say he would be there in about 30 minutes.  He was friendly and professional on the phone and in person.  He assessed the situation, listened to my description of the noise the boiler was making and what we had already tried, and was quickly able to diagnose the problem.  He didn't have the part in his truck, so went to get it from his shop. He replaced the part, made sure everything was running again, then gave me a tutorial on how the system works.  Although the job took more than an hour as he had to go to his shop he only charged for an hour of labor.  The part was $225, and the labor was $150, not cheap, but seemed fair to me.  He also offered to talk with my husband by phone if he had any questions. We would hire Cuddy Brothers again, and are happy that we found a local plumber to work with.

This was about as seamless a kitchen renovation that one could ever hope for.  Dave listened carefully to the goals we wanted to achieve in our kitchen, and was patient with the design adjustments we wanted to incorporate as we considered each version of the design plans.  One cabinet in particular that was added toward the end of the design process was brilliantly conceived on his part--a cabinet to store large items that looked like a lovely piece of dining room furniture, with exterior shelving and drawers. It is a centerpiece in the kitchen.  Dave was careful to preserve important walk ways in our kitchen so as to not create bottlenecks--an important element in this centrally located kitchen.  His advice on style and color of cabinetry was also highly valued in our desire to achieve a cleaner and brighter look, yet one that was still consistent with our 1931 Colonial.

The Brookhaven cabinets are beautiful and well-made.  While they are pricey, Dave was able to steer us to take advantage of a manufacturer's discount.  The selection of hardware that was available without incurring additional cost was completely adequate, and we took advantage of this option.

Installation of the cabinetry was smooth and timely.  We decided to make a last minute change to the placement of our microwave, which necessitated the order of a new drawer.  This took longer than we had hoped, but understood that this was not a Kitchen Center issue, but rather one of the manufacturer, as each items is custom made.  When the drawer arrived, it was without a front--this added more time. 

Once the cabinetry was installed, irregularities were minimal.  Dave and a service that works with him tended to adjusting hinges, covering screw heads, and painting areas that needed to be smoothed. 

Overall, working with the Kitchen Center exceeded our expectations.  Communication and responsiveness were excellent.  They partnered well with our contractor so that there were no glitches or last minute surprises--almost unheard of for a kitchen renovation.  The quality of the design and workmanship has made for a space that we are loving, and our only regret was that we did no redo our kitchen sooner!

"The above described work was done over a period of 3 years. During that time the quality of the work has been very good, project costs very reasonable, and schedules adherence excellent. 
While painting the exterior of my house, a large section of rotted siding / fraing was uncovered. The unexpected repairs were done quicly, efficiently, without any change order mark-ups, all as part of the project.
Replacing the windows at the church property required gaining access to 2 units rented out to 3rd parties. There wwere never any issues raised about costs / schedule delays that may have been impacted due to the need to coordinate with the tenants. Replacing all of the siding on the church owned apartment building (done in a historic district) was done professionally, with high levels of concern for safety (both for the workers and the public in the vicinity of the work area), cleanliness,and proper execution of the work.
Working with Ivaldo is more of a partnership where the goal of completing the job is considered paramount, not the profit at the end of the work. When applicable, Ivaldo has also offered alternative means of completing a given task which will cost the owner less, thus less income for Escala, but as I tried to indicate earlier it seems the "relationship" is more important to Ivaldo than short term profits.
