"I came to the link to share it with a friend who is looking for a contractor because I wanted to recommend her to Joseph and Sons and realized I have not written my review yet. I know is a late review though the feeling is the same :) I met with Angelo in the winter of 2019 - a tree had fallen over our roof, we had damage in different areas of the house including the deck. I will make it efficient for you guys; 1. They worked around my budget and went above and beyond 2. They cleaned up after themselves every time 3. Staff was extremely respectful. No music, or Loud conversations and absolutely nice. We enjoyed getting coffee for them and sweets for late afternoon snacks. 4. They will get the job done the way you have imagined it, not the way they think is best. 5. Angelo understands your needs and will help you get as much load off your shoulders as possible. 6. Clean finishes. Sharp paint skills. Detailed focused. 7. Angelo understands how the HOI works, and all the possible ways things could end up working out, so we were always prepared and the job came to finish under the full given budget by the HOI co. 7. "We had hired Craig in August 2018 to put a comprehensive drainage system in our back yard, which is still proving to be an excellent investment due to he and his team's outstanding work. When we had another drainage issue, this time in our front yard, he was our first and only choice to come take a look. We needed to figure out where an underground pipe in the front of our house was draining, since water was forming at the front corner of our property. A Roto Rooter serviceman told us that the pipe was crushed and needed to be replaced. And when I called Craig to see if he could do it, he said he wanted to take a look first. He brought a few of his team members to our house and dig some digging, both where the water was forming and where the pipe begins at the front of our house. It turned out the pipe does not go to the front of our property at all, but moves a few feet from the house and goes straight down to a dry well. Instead of charging us for labor or simply telling us Roto Rooter was right and offering to replace the pipe, Craig not only told us we could hold off on doing anything, he also didn't charge us for the labor at all. This type of integrity has been hard to find as we have done home improvements over the past few years. It's why Craig's cell phone number is the only contractor's number I've saved in my phone. We consider him a lifetime relationship, and he's the only one we will ever call for this or any type of landscaping work."

"We looked around for a while for our patio project. Got multiple quotes and a few unfortunate no responses and a few who just completely forgot us after the first visit. Roy came and gave us a good quote. He was one of the better prices and from reviews here and pictures of his past work I decided to go with him. The work started on a Friday morning and was completed the next day. Starting 8am and finishing around 4 on both days. We did a 20' x 33' paver patio with 2 rounded corners and 2 x 3' deep stone landings by our two back entrances. There is a slope in our yard that necessitated a small retaining wall on one corner as well which was about a foot high. The patio looks great and is exactly what we asked for. If you are looking to do masonry work, these guys will not disapoint. My only downside was that the extra dirt from the patio excavation was not placed in the best places possible. I have a slope in my yard that was made just a bit steeper now. This is something I should have planned ahead for and I would not fault Roy and his crew. Factoring in where to put the extra dirt should have been planned more in advance with them. My advice would be to find someone to haul it away for you. Roy mentioned local landscapers who may be in need of dirt."

"The job went very well from start to finish.  This was an Angie's List deal of 4 man-hours for $199.   Due to the good response to the Angie's List offer, Brett had to schedule the job a few weeks out.  He contacted me in a timely manner, and showed up as promised, on time and prepared.  A week or so before Emerald Green Landscape arrived,  it had snowed and we had a spell of cold weather, so the leaves were wet and matted down.  Plus, a large part of the yard is covered with pachysandra.  They did an excellent job of overcoming these obstacles and left the place in tip top shape.  They also cut down a small tree that was storm damaged, cut the wood into firewood and stacked it -- this was beyond the scope of the job.  I am extremely pleased and would recommend Brett Pearson and Emerald Green Landscaping without reservation.
