Magnolia's estimator and residential field supervisor, Sam Musser, is also a licensed AC system installer, and with his wealth of knowledge and experience he was able to answer all of my questions concerning the installation. "Joe Brandli's services were recommended to us by our real estate agent, and when we met Joe, we found him friendly, honest, and knowledgeable -- and we continue to think highly of him as a person. But now that we've been living in our house for slightly more than a year, we do sometimes wish that we'd worked with a different home inspector.
To be fair, it was obvious that the house would need some fixing up, and Joe pointed out a number of things that needed to be addressed, including loose insulation in the attic, a crack on the back porch, and, most importantly, a large amount of mold inside an upstairs closet and also in the Air Handler.
However, Joe's report did not include mention the decay of the cement porch behind the house (at the time of Joe's inspection, the iron supports underneath the porch were almost entirely rusted out), or the significant damage to the basement walls caused by moisture.
